I was lucky enough to find your TR's this weekend & now I'm hooked! can't wait to read more......this sure helps pass the time until my next WDW trip in September!

Well, my last update was 2 full months ago.... I had to re-read my report to find out where I was and what I was talking about. I will give you all a short recap (because I know you aren't going back to read it all...LOL)

After a great breakfast at Kona but a rainy morning, things were starting to brighten up. We were touring the studios with our 'POP' friends and we were about to meet up with our friends from Indiana. Bill, Hannah, and I split up from the girls to ride some of the BIG rides while the girls saw the Disney Junior show.





After riding TOT, we met back up with the girls and our friends wanted to do some exploring on their own. Melody, Juliana, and I went to see some characters.

Oh Lotso, you are so much nicer in person than in the movies....

Mickey didn't seem to mind my Donald shirt...

She loves Cinderella and she loves pink.... this is a perfect painting for her!

I liked this picture... only thing missing is an ice cold beer! LOL

After a quick photopass shot....

We were off to explore the Streets of America. We have walk though the streets numerous times, we never really stopped to check out all the buildings and to fool around.

I'm not sure what Juliana liked the most, taking the Subway.....

It was nice to spend some time- just the 3 of us- before meeting up with our Indiana friends at Mama Melrose for lunch. We were a few minutes early and our professional photographer saw a good spot to take our picture.

Then I had to take a picture of our professional......... POSER!

We checked in for lunch and waited for our Indiana friends to arrive.......

After a few minutes, Dave, his parents, Branda, Victoria, and Alex arrived! Juliana was very happy to see them!

The kids were settling in while the adults were checking out the menus.

We had booked the Fantasmic! dining package and I didn't fully understand what that had meant. Hours ago, we had a huge breakfast at Kona and I was thinking I was going to order a pizza for Mel, Juliana, and I to split. Well, with the package, you get an appetizer, entree, and a dessert. Some appetizers are for 2 people, like the calamari, but most of them are 1. Between the 6 adults, we ordered all kinds of apps for everyone to split.

Some of the apps were:

Clams Oreganatta - oak-fried clams cooked in oregano butter with Italian sausage over toasted focaccia- These were excellent

Crispy Calamari for Two - topped with peppers and onions, served with a side of spicy marinara sauce - Good, except the sauce tastes like it came out of a jar (which I'm sure it did)

Dave's mom ordered the Vegetarian Minestrone - with ditalini pasta - and said it was very good.

Finally the Mozzarella and Tomatoes - with marinated sweet onions, balsamic drizzle, extra virgin olive oil and fresh sweet basil

WHEW... after all of that, I'm not sure how we even were able to eat more but we did.......

I had the Shrimp Pipette- Pipette Pasta tossed with Artichokes, Peas, Roasted Peppers, and Sweet Onions in a Basil Four-Cheese Cream Sauce... It was really good and I think I ate it all.

Everyone really enjoyed the meal except Branda didn't love the chicken parm.... I think it was the sauce that she wasn't feeling. I want to say all three kids ate pizza..... I asked my magic 8 ball if that was what they ate but it told me 'Reply Hazy, Try Again' I guess this is what I get for trying to write a report 4 months after the trip. LOL

I guess I have to show you some of the desserts... the kids got the spaghetti and meatball cupcake- which was...ummmm..... interesting

After lunch Dave, Branda, their crew were going to check out L!M!A! while we were going to go meet back up with our other friends. Just writing this is making me tired, I feel like we were crossing the park every hour. But we did have those coveted TSM FPs that were burning a hole in our pocket.

The girls were extremely excited to ride TSM!

Shhhhhhh....don't tell anyone but the adults were excited too! (One of my favorite pics of the trip)

I took a picture of my score and I'm not proud of it so I'm not posting it! Hey, this is MY TR, I can do what I want!

Dave called me and said they only made it though a few minutes of the LMA! and they were coming to meet up with us. There were a few other FPs that were itching to be used..... 8 RnRC FPs! We had so many extras because Melody couldn't ride because she was pregnant, Dave's parents weren't riding and I think we had a few from the kids too. Our first time through I was in the same car as Dave & Branda. Branda looks terrified! Dave has his eyes closed, and I am just loving riding on my favorite ride in Disney!

We got off and got right in the FP line again for round 2. This time we waited for the front car and had another great ride!

We had some time to kill before we had to get in line for Fantasmic! What to do, what to do? How about a photo shoot on Hollywood Blvd?

After our mini photo shoot we still had time to kill. We could feel a force pulling us toward the sorcerers hat to a ride that we have NEVER done before, a ride people come from miles around to ride, a ride that was daring us to ride........

I have that picture of Mickey and Minnie in those chairs on the beach looking at the MK!

Loved your "Ana's favorite moments" around Streets of America. And your Vanna White pose? That will be a good picture to show her when she's older of all the cute little things she used to do!

Mama Melrose!! Yum! I'm drooling over those food pictures! But, that sure was a lot of food! And I think Ana's birthday hat was a little too big.

How is everyone! I have a hard time catching up on everyone's threads, due to the end of the school year.

No worries!!! I'm having the same problem. I am trying to get back into the swing of the DIS... It is just so hard!

So, how's beautiful little Ana feeling about being a Big Sister pretty soon? Guess she's excited.

She is getting very excited! We are only a few weeks away!

Am I wrong in remembering that Mel is supposed to give birth on August 13? I thought I remembered it, as it is the day we leave for WDW AND my friend's birthday too!
I definitely need to get internet while on vacation - I cannot miss the first pics of your little son!

All of you ....... get as much rest as you can, you are gonna need it once your sweet little addition to the family has arrived!

Melody's due date is August 13th... she is actually on the way to the doctors now. Who knows, maybe it will be sooner.

I can't believe only one month until the baby is born. How exciting!!!! I can't wait to go shopping for the new little guy.

I'm meeting your nemesis a week from Monday for lunch. FreezinRafiki and Captain_Oblivious will be in Chicago and while the girls are at the American Girl store having lunch, I'm hanging with all the boys...big and little.

I too was getting exhausted just reading about your DHS day...but what a fun day it was. I love all of the photo shoots! Such fun pictures.

yay, nice to see you back with an update! Wow, less than a month before the due date, huh? Well, speaking from personal experience, the end of July is a nice time for a birthday as well. I always got ice cream cakes on my birthday Wishing you guys a healthy delivery and a happy, healthy baby!

Now to the update - love the poses, as usual. I think my favorite though, is the big group pic. All of the different poses are hilarious and I love that the kids all got in the act too. I would totally frame it. It would bring back good memories.

By the way, after seeing your pics on FB, I asked my husband if he wanted to go to OC for some crab. But then after talking to my parents, we realized that there are some more all-you-can eat crab places near our house that also have Maryland blue crab and they have a takeout option too. I know what we are eating the next time we are in VA.

When you are paying $33 (or something like that) a person for the package, you know we were going to eat EVERYTHING we could.
