DS6 decided on Monday night to jump off my couch (because he thought he could fly) and land on his head/right shoulder. Ended up going to the ER for 3 hours. At first they thought he had a really bad collar bone break. Well the xrays showed that it was a fracture at the very end of the bone and he lifted most of the restrictions.
Guess what...we leave for Disney in 5 days!!! If he would have broke it any worse, then he would not have been able to ride anything with a chest harness. Now we just have to monitor the rides and see what we feel is not good for him. He had to wear a sling yesterday and today and we told school to keep him in for recess and no gym. Luckily tomorrow is his last day of school.
So let's home my two crazy boys will stay healthy for the next 5 days.

) it was pretty painful. Just be careful even though it is only a fracture try some smaller rides before going on anything that may be too much for your DS. I'm sure you are already planning on this. Since you can't get off once a ride is running be weary of rides that push you to one side of the car or the other. Tell your DS to wait until after a big trip or event for his next flying lesson. Have a great time!!
I hope he feels better soon! Have fun on your trip and keep your little flier safe!
