Just what is a Woods View at Wilderness Lodge

We are headed to Disney in June and will be staying at the Wilderness Lodge. We have a "Woods View" room and to be honest I am yet to see a good description of just what that means, so the question is simply... What is a Woods View?

simply put there are pool views, lake views, and woods views nothing wrong with these in fact we think there a little quieter.

Woods view is just trees, and it's hard to see through them even if the lake is just beyond them.

I had a great "woods view" on my last trip. I specifically requested "view of otter pond" because it sounded lovely. And it was, although I never saw any otters!! Does anyone know if they are even there? But I did see lots of bunnies and woodchucks out grazing, and the view was lovely. I could see the lake through the trees. Of course, I could also see the parking lot if I leaned out and looked left, but the right view was perfect - and the rate was pretty cheap, too, if I remember correctly!!!

Several rooms overlooking the otter pond have castle views if an opening in the trees is in the right place.

We got a Woods view this past trip over Easter. I wanted Mk view. First night, we didn't get it. Just trees. Second night and rest of trip we upgraded to concierge and got a PERFECT MK view. No trees in the way or anything. It was beautiful. Room number was 7052. Contemporary looked beautiful frrom there, too. And monorail and space mountain!
