Everyone knows I'm crazy and I believe that magic is loose in the world. What ever you call it: Fate, Destiny ect.... I think everything happens for a reason.
Sometimes that reason is not readily appearent. Just imagine for a minute that your purpose, your destiny in NOT to grow old and die in a nursing home or being cared for at home by a falily member. Your senior years are when you can contribute the most and maybe you are destined to contribute for a long time.
Most of us have those moments where we say, "Why am I doing this", we don't really know sometimes. Maybe fate is pushing us toward our destiny and our contribution to mankind. How do we know how many children who are carrying extra pounds from sitting at home all the time with their video games and their overweight parents, see you out there walking and running and the seed is planted that their is something better.
What if your contribution is to be a tiny flame in the darkness. A tiny flame of guiding light. When we gather with 30,000 other tiny flames in 2 weeks, trust me the magic will be there, thick enouth to feel with your heart. There is magic in those glowing yellow WISH shirts, they are made from pixy dust after all don't cha know. There is even a spot of magic in the purple TNT shirts.
Just suppose for a moment that one of those overweight kids watching you walk in the cold or the heat is inspired and thinks, "I can do that", the strength and courage he gains from you planting that tiny spark grows beyond imagination and he becomes a world leader, who will stop us from hating each other and bring the nations together in peace. All from you fullfilling your destiny, though you never know it.
Our road is not always easy, in fact it's darn rough sometimes. It's the rough times that build our strength and make us more than we were. Next time you hit a rough spot be crazy for a moment and imagine you can feel the magic around you, tighten your abs and take that next step toward your destiny.
