I have decided to start writing an online blog to hopefully help other parents who have a child with cancer - ive been on it for ages tonight and still only got page layout and first post done.
After talking to other moms in my position ive decided i need to start to do something that supports the parents this is just the first step of I hope many my goal is to reach other parents and then set up a parent helpline but thats going to take a bit more work than sitting in front of my computer

Im hoing to update it everday with good things as well as bad and definatly link to it from a website that my brothers helping me produce to help other parents. Throughout our journey there has been a desperate lack of help for us as parents , plenty of fofers of anti ddepressants but never any actual offers of someone to just listen to us - I want to change that but at the moment seem to be hitting brick wall !!! im hoping from the 500 emails i sent last night there will be one person who can help us set it up or an activ lead to someone who can tell us ball park figures on how much it costs to set up and run something like this. I know nothing like this exists - plenty for cancer sufferers but nothing for parents .

What a great blog Louise, it will be such a help for other parents.

When I was pregnant with my eldest DD she was diagnosed with a potentially fatal condition of which we wouldn't know the outcome until after her birth. Luckily she only needed one operation to correct it which was successful but I had to endure the majority of my pregnancy in a severe state of worry and it would have been so much easier if there had been blogs and websites where other parents could share their experiences around then.

Wow Louise. I've just read Camerons story and it made me cry. You've all been through so much. Cameron is truly a brave little boy with a very special Mum.
