I'm mostly a lurker (and learner!) here, but I wanted to share my most recent project! I'm the PA President at my son's school and this past Friday was our annual Teachers Luncheon. In years past, the PA Board used to decorate the board in the room where the luncheon was held, but in the last few years, the former Pres stopped doing that. I really wanted to go back to the idea of doing a theme and decorations, so I had decided in January that the theme would be "A Garden of Gratitude". I used the Cricut to make 280 flowers, which all the kids wrote thank you notes to their teacher on. Because I had to do so many, the flowers are really simple, but they were fun to do. Each grade level had a different style, so there were 6 different flowers used from WIMG. The tulips are also WIMG, and have the names of all the specials teachers & staff written on them. This past Tuesday I finally upgraded to the Expression
so, the signs, title (though the first "A" is hard to see), tulips, sun, clouds and paper dolls (made to look like our principal and secretary) were all made with the Big E, which I love, love, love!
The sun & clouds are from Mickey & Friends, the letters are Plantin' (which I almost didn't keep, but I actuall love!) and obviously the people are from PD's. Everything else is WIMG.
Anyway, this was the final result of 2 months worth of work! I was very happy with how it came out and all the teachers were so touched!
