Our first DVC experience. I posted a trip report on the boards but I wanted to share just our first time. We bought into Saratoga Springs last August and decide to stay at Old Key West to use less of our points.
What a wonderful resort, my pregnant wife requested a first floor unit close to a bus stop so walking too far wouldn't be too much which when we arrived we were only a short walk to the bus thank you Disney!!
We ate both breakfast and dinner at Olivia's and the service and food was excellent. The unit was spacious but the only small problem was the dishwasher door was broken but a quick phone call and it was fixed the next day. The kids loved the porch, each day they were greeted by the ducks and we had a beautiful sunrise over the golf course.
We always had a nice quick breakfast before we would leave for the day and that was nice not to rush out the door.
Bus service was great only time we had a full bus was on our last night and that was because we had just come from dinner at Chef Mickey's and MK was closing.
Finally I just felt like we were home I told my wife I thought the kids seemed to be more calmer too. She said it was there was so much room that we weren't tripping over each other like on our past trips when all five of us were in one room.
I said to my nine year old son I couldn't call it a room we were staying at and he says "Dad, we can call it our home away from home".
I looked at him and say that's what it is and finally,
I should have bought sooner!
