I'm Brand Spanking new here, but since I'm a Disney hound I think I may have found a home! We get to Disney once a year and will be doing a 2 night stay in August. No parks, just visiting friends. Thinking about staying at the Hotel Royal Plaza?? Any thoughts? Our annual Family Vacation is in October. Just booked the Air yesterday!!:teeth: Haven't booked anything else yet.
I've never stayed onsite & look forward to learning all the Disney In's & out's. Any suggestions & thoughts are appreciated!

Also, how do I get the little countdown at the bottom?!? Thanks!

Lauren

You might check out this page at mousesavers.com for a review of and discounts for the Hotel Royal Plaza (I can't give any information of it from personal experience).

Welcome from one newbie to another. I'm also very glad to have found this site because I feel like I'm already ahead on planning our WDW trip (a first for DD and me) and will be more "in the know" than the vast majority of first time visitors.

Welcome! I'm fairly new here too. I'm leaving for my first WDW trip in less than 3 days now!

LisaZoe, I see you're from Oregon. There's not many of us here but I am too. :teeth:

Hello, luvabargain. I've seen just a few other posters "from our neck of the woods". I have a feeling many people on the west coast are more frequent visitors to Disneyland than WDW. Have a great time on your trip!

Yep. Disneyland and it's vicinity is probably the reason I've never been to Disneyworld. That and the fact that dh hates to fly.

There's one other poster from Salem I've seen here.

Hi....welcome to the Dis. Have you thought about spreading your wings and trying one of the on-site hotels at Universal or the Islands of Adventure............you get front of the line access to all the rides and priority seating at all the restaurants and the hotels are just fab. The theming at the parks is something that you just have to see for yourself - it's totally awe inspiring!!!:D

Hey there new friend. You're going to love it here! There is no other like DisBoards.

Wish I had known about the DisBoards for my first couple of trips! Okay, well, I guess there was no DisBoards for the first one  am I showing my age!? Arghhh pirate: the horror of life BEFORE the internet

How DID we ever manage

I am glad that progress has brought us all closer together to share our secrets and the do's and don'ts!!

Everyone have a great trip
