Just wanted to say hi from DL Board

My son moved from DL to DW this summer.He was working on the racers ride and before that the TOT.Anyway today was French Foreign Legion Day he went to work on the monorail about 2pm for his first 8 hour shift.I am sure it was HOT!!Anyway just wanted to say hi and thanks for the chance to hear about DW.The weird thing was he did not have his maingate so we spent time with him at Embassy Suites but did not go to the parks.We went on three day cruise on Enchantment of the Seas, for me it was amazing.We would do that again--the old folks that is not sure about the kids.

Welcome to the WDW side of the Boards, Barry! I'm sure you'll be spending a lot of time here now that your son is on the WDW Monorail Team - so cool!

We were DLR APs for years until DD graduated from UCSD and began her WDW CM career. Lots of differences to absorb and hope you get to visit the parks on your next visit!! Also take advantage of one of the Disney Cruises - it really is great for adults, too!
