Just want to make sure about DAS

My son will be using it. I want to make sure I understand what it can be used for. It can be used for rides and shows(FoLK, Voyage of the Little Mermaid, etc) and rides but not for parades/fireworks and character meet and greets, right?

If the character meet n greet has a fast pass line, you can use DAS

Yes if there is a fast pass then you can use the DAS the Theater at the front of magic kingdom is one place you can use the DAS

At WDW, DAS can be used at anything with both standby and FP+ queues. If there is only standby (no FP+), then you cannot use the DAS. If there is FP+ but no standby queue (such as a parade or fireworks), then you cannot use the DAS. At times others have reported being allowed access to a FP+ parade or fireworks area if they asked, but I wouldn't count on it.
