Ok so we are heading to Disney for our 1st time the 2nd week in Dec. we were going to stay at POFQ but I just called and upgraded to AK standard view (all they had available) I wanted savannah view but of course all out! but with Deluxe dinning for a family of four 2 adults and 2 children for $3035 is this a good deal? does this sound like I got the 40% off they wont tell me what I have they just said there is a code attached to my name and this is the price.. Thanks in advance!!

Kind of wierd they would not tell you the %. I called last night and I had a 30% discount attached to my name.

Yea I have called many of times and they say all we can say is you have a code attached. They have never told me how much of a code.

That is totally wierd. Anyways you did get a good price for what you booked. We went to the POLY last september and booked a standard view for 3100 (later got upgraded to a MK castle view. Don't worry about the view at AKL, the animals will be outside all over and why spend more money for a view. Here is a hint, when you go there, ask if you can get a complementary upgrade. We did that in 2006 and were upgraded from standard to Sav. view.

I'm at AKL standard view (dirt cheap conference rate is for standard only) Mar. 15-22 and standard is all they have available. I'm so excited. This is our first deluxe.

YOu got a good deal. WE tried to book AKL for that same time. 2 adults, 2 child w/dining plan

standard view was 3494.00

We upgraded from CSR to AKL lodge standard view for our Christmas trip 2006! It was an opportunity of a lifetime. When we got their, Disney made it EVEN BETTER by upgrading us to a Savanah view room with a bunk bed. This would have been exactly what wanted, but just couldn't afford. IT WAS AWESOME!!!!

The upgrade is not a guarantee, but would be a pleasant surprise....

This was my experience as well. She was extremely nice and would only say that it was a great code and I'd get a great deal. In order to calculate the discount I went on line and priced out a full priced package and then got the rate for room-only.

Congrats on upgrading! It will be so exciting. I hope you and your family have a wonderful trip!

WOW that would be so awsome this will be our 1st trip to Disney so I want to make is special for my girls!!
