Just turned off CNN--interviewing relatives!

I had CNN on for an hour or so listening to it while I clean the house and surf the net (not in that order).
Paula Zahn just started interviewing the father, sister and SON of a dead marine. I can't even watch that, it gets me all choked up and then angry at the stupid questions these reporters ask. Then I heard that 4 soldiers may have been killed while refueling in Iraq. BIL is in Iraq. What if that was our family being grilled on television by a stupid reporter!!!
I'll just listen to the radio for a while.

My prayers to your BIL too. Yeah, I was watching it too and had to leave. Those questions are stupid and inconsiderate, and just nosy.

My husband was watching that. It made me cry to think what they must be going through.

Why do that ask some of those stupid questions anyway?

She just kept trying to get him to say something inflammatory The poor man lost his son and all they are interested in is getting another sound byte out of him that they can play over and over.

While I agree that the press often crosses the line of what is appropriate, this family agreed to be interviewed. This is not something that they had to do.

I watched the interview also. This father of that very brave Marine stated in this interview that he was againest this war.

I would now like to ask a question of those of you who are so adamant in your belief that a person cannot be againest this war but still support the troops.

Do you believe that this father who lost his only son is "anti-military" or "unpatriotic".

This man obviously raised his son to love his country and serve it proudly.

This anguished father is absolute proof that you can be anti war and still support the troops. God Bless this family.

I feel for that family and can;t imagine what they must be going through. The father yesterday was blaming Pesident Bush. Well, I think anytime someone joins the miltary, there are risk no matter who is president.

I am not sure that the families should even be asked to be interviewed.
