After several months of thinking it over and many questions for our guide, we just purchased 180pts at SSR. Just waiting for the paper work to show up in the mail. Any congrats or advice?

We just joined last week as well. After coming home from our trip we were talking to some friend and found out they were also members. They thought we could be able to get additional discounts on points if we used them as a reference. Have you ever heard anything like this.
