Since Friday. I weighed myself this morning when I got into work. That made me happy! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc
 
That's great, Jen. Be careful weighing yourself everyday, though. Our weight fluctuates from day to day, I would hate for you to become discouraged.

Congradulations on your loss. I totally agree with kathy though. Our weight is up and down almost daily pick a day and try your best to only weight on that day or you will become obsessed with the scales. WTG on the -2!
 
Oopsie. I forgot about that. Well, hopefully it sticks. I haven't had anything but a small bowl of cereal and a sandwich since Thursday so I thought it was plausible. I don't have a scale at home and my next shift at work is on Friday so.. I'll weigh in again then.

I had an eggroll today. I shouldn't have. But I had a REALLY bad day at work and was all over the place all day. So I worked off those calories.

<b>WHOA!!!</b> Hold it, stop the presses, everybody out of the pool!!!!!! You have only eaten cereal and one sandwich since <i>Thursday</i>???? No, no, no sweetie. You need to eat more than that, eating such a small amount of food is not only unhealthy but it's going to slow your weight loss.

When we don't eat enough food our metabolisms slow way down because our bodies think we are starving ourselves. So, we burn fewer calories. Not good.

Besides that, you are only 17. You could still be growing. You don't want to endanger your health.

Are you following any formal type of eating plan? You need to eat a more balanced diet, sweetie. I don't want you ending up in the hospital and you will if you continue eating like this. We need you to remain healthy so you can come here to WISH and help keep us focused.
 
I didn't do it purposely! I normally eat a balanced thing. I ate two oranges and watermelon on Friday and Saturday (Those are the days I only ate that).

See. I work from 4-9 on Friday. I can't eat dinner before, and .. I can't eat dinner afterwards because .. I try not to eat after 9.

And then on Saturday I was out with my friends all day and I didn't want to eat McDonalds or anything bad so that's all I ate. Today my mom ordered me chinese from the diet menu. Chicken and Broccolli. I had a little bit. And my egg roll. Plus the small bowl of cereal and sandwich.

Admittedly I have done some really messed up thing like .. not eating for days. or trying that whole.. Exlax diet. But I am HONESTLY attempting to eat healthy. I am not following a diet plan just a little bit of LA Weightloss.

Edit: And Oh yeah! Gosh. I didn't realize it sounded like that. I ate a bowl of cereal and a sandwich on each day. I'm sorry! I've got to watch how I word things from now on!
 
Thanks for the update. Congrats on the two pound loss. And listen to Kath!!!! :) I know that you responded to her and listed what you did eat, and I'm glad to know you didn't just survive on cereal and a small sandwich for a few days.

Be good to your body! If you are going to be out all day with your friends and the only food options are fast food joints, then buy yourself a soft sided cooler and an ice pack and make sure you carry some healthy snacks/meals with you. Packing a sandwich and some fruit or veggies is not going to make you look like a dork! ;)
