Just to complicate things a little more...

I guess the crux of my question is this: do my older kids' "adult" KTTW cards have our dining credits attached to them?

We have a LARGE group going in October. Some of us will spend one day at IOA/Universal, leaving some extra dining credits that we would like to use on Signatures.

Our kids (17 and 11) and the other IOA kid from our tour group (11) would LOVE to eat at Le Cellier. As we've already been there once, the hubs and I would like to try Narcoossee's instead.

Can we set up an early ADR at Le Cellier for the kids, and they can use their individual KTTW cards for the meal? Hubs and I would kick around the World Showcase while they eat, get them on the bus back to OKW, then head over to the Grand Floridian for a late dinner. The kids are very Disney-savvy, very well-behaved, and I think they would get a kick out of a nice meal without the 'rents hanging around. ::yes::

If this won't work, what's the better option that puts the least amount of extra work on the CMs?

All KTTW cards issued to the reservation, even those of the kids, will have access to ALL of your party's DDP credits. If you're in separate rooms on separate room reservation numbers, each person's card will have access to all the credits assigned to the room they are registered in. So if you are intending to have the kids use credits that are not assigned to their own room, they will have to have a KTTW card from that room.

Yes, you can set up a reservation just for them, and they can pay with their own KTTW cards.

Remember that Le Cellier is 2 credits even for lunch next year!

YAY! I know this will be the easiest way for the CMs, as the oldest (maybe the young ones, too?) is DisneyCompetent enough to explain the split and keep up with the cards. And, yes...bummer that LC is two credits now, but that's why I thought of doing it this way--makes up for the zero credits we will use on IOA day.

THANK YOU!!

With the Deluxe Plan the kids can order off the adult menu too. Little known fact we found out this past Dec 12. The credits are lumped together and don't show up as adult or kids. They just don't advertise it. My seven yr old ordered off the adult menu for many meals

As far as I know they aren't supposed to do that. The KTTW card still says the number of adults and children on the reservation. It may have worked for you, but might not work for others.

We were told that time and time again at each restaurant when we asked. It does not go into the system as adult/child on deluxe plan, only total number of credits. They just don't advertise.
