Just to add more confusion to all the PIN code discussion

I'm very confused right now :confused3 , help. I just hung up from CRO and my rate for Poly Garden view was $3516 for October 3-11 (8 nights) . This included dining plan, and 7 day base tickets. This has to be a mistake. We paid $3800 last year and had free dining. This time DS will be 3 and we have that added extra for his pass & dining plan. It's cheaper this year without the dining plan! How can this be?

We are at CBR October 29 thru 11/3. I got only 2 day base passes since I'm buying Halloween party tickets.I got Dining, 2 adults & 2 kids for $1576. That includes tax.

I keep saying, it must be a mistake. I hope they don't cancel our reservations. For as many years as I have been booking and researching my Disney trips, I have never seen a fall code released in January. I would expect Disney to catch this soon. I hope our reservations don't get cancelled. Or we get there and they ask for Florida ID's, or employee IDs.

This is not a "fall code". This is the code that they are using for people with a pin when they want to add dining/tickets. This is why the dates are exactly those of the postcards. There is apparently a glitch in the system somewhere that is allowing this to be booked without a pin. Add that to some uninformed CM's and voila you have a deal!!

I would suggest anyone wanting this deal get it booked before it is pulled. As you have all said this is better than almost any other deal you have seen...especially with a deluxe resort.

That sounds more like it. How likely would Disney be to cancel reservations?

Not sure....there was a number of people who booked a great deal at the boardwalk in the summer that Disney took away. This situation is a little different though and the deal not as great as the boardwalk one was. If they are going to cancel they will notify you though.

My quote is for 2A + 2C, AKL Sahvannah view w/bunks, Sept 22-30, DDP, 7-day hoppers. With tax $3467. I really hope it isn't a mistake to.. From what I could come up with free dining would save me 800 and this saved me 1100.

I think the savings are bigger on the rooms over 220 that make it a better deal then free dining at least at an 8 night stay....

Is there a way to check a reservation online? That way I could see if there are any restrictions (FL, Employee)

It isn't one of those scenarios so looking it up won't help you. If it is booked i would just wait to see what happens. It may be caught nad may not. If it is caught then they will decide what to do about it and notify those involved. Heck you might as well ride it out for a bit...it took about 10 days for them to notify people when the boardwalk incident happened. I would hold off on the air ressies unless you are planning on going anyways.

I agree with above, just tried to use the code and the very helpful CM tried to apply it, when she had difficulty, she checked with a supervisor and said exactly what is quoted above. "This is a code attached to a pin and a specific household, it is used if the guest wants to make a package with dining."

I wonder what will happen....
I guess it is back to hoping for free dining for Aug-Sept.:wizard:

Does anyone have the specific dates that were on the postcard...:confused3

I am so excited!! I called back for the 3rd time to ask about this code and got a wonderful CM, Debra Lynn. My original package was thru AAA, 5 nights standard at POFQ, 6 day hoppers (2 a, 1c) Oct 18 - 23 for $1,550. I just got the same package with dining for the following week Oct 24 - 29 (still 5 nights) for $1,759.23! If I would have added on dining to my AAA ressie, it would have been $1,994.85, so I basically saved $200. I hadn't planned on getting the DDP, but if I can get it for $200, it's too hard to pass up!

The CM that I spoke with didn't say that this was a pin code, but she did say that it was first come / first serve. I told her the difficulties that I had the previous 2 times that I called and she said that this discount was difficult to locate and that you actually have to type the code in and not just try to look it up.

Of course she didn't say it was a pin code....I am not implying that any CM would knowingly give a pin code to anyone who didn't get one.

This is a pin code and there is a glitch in the system somewhere.

It worked!!! Woo Hoo...AKL, Savannah view, Dec 19-18, 1 day base (we're AP holders), and dining (2 adults, 2 juniors) for $3545

I am thrilled! We are taking my mom for Christmas. She hasn't been in 4 years and never at Christams.

Thanks everyone!!

YEAH!!!!
I finally got a good deal!
We are doing 2 nights at the nick hotel before Disney, I guess I'm off to that forum to look for discounts.

Can anyone answer my questin about where DDP is listed on the reservation on line?

yeah, i am wondering this myself. we are staying at POFQ and it doesn't seem to be one of those "OMG!!!" sort of deals.

Yesh this is definitely true. Its 40% off rack rate per night...higher the rack rate, higher the discount. If a room is $100 the discount is $40/nt....a $400 room...discount is $160/nt (equal to ddp for 4 adults).
