Just Thought I'd Share!

We had our early scan this morning!

We seen our new little baby very clearly, I am 7weeks pregnant and you could make out the bubb's head,legs etc and also, the babys heart was beating like a little trooper,I never seen this on my scans with Chelsea in the early days so this was extra special! everything looks ok, and we now go back on the 16th December for our 12weeks scan!
We are really made up!
Chelsea wants to call the baby (of which she wants a boy) Mickey!
So we are in negotiations! we will see!

Anyway me and martyn want to think you for all your kind messages of support over the recent months!

Well the plan now is we are telling Martyns parents on Sunday we (with the help of my mother) are going to cook a roast dinner and let Chelsea tell them afterwards.Not the same has telling them at xmas, but we really want to share our news and we are lying to them all the time and we feel kinda bad.....

As for the sex not sure, with Chelsea I had to have a amniocentisist (sp), and they revealed the sex at 23weeks so not sure hopefully we wont go down that road, we want to the know the sex a.s.a.p I cant wait until Birth LOL!!! I need a coulour scheme for clothing,prams etc hehe

We didnt get a scan picture when it's an early scan they dont let you buy them until you are in the safe zone of 12weeks.


Names, Chelsea has been through the whole disney cast!, I am sure we will come up with something at the end of the 9months!
She calls the baby, Nemo,Minnie,Mickey..list is endless,I am happy she is so over the moon,she has already discussed sharing SOME, I MEAN SOME of her toys LOL!!!! Kids.

Anyway thank you for all your kind messages, I have spent the whole day trying to keep my eyes open, and suffering with Nausea.
But it's worth it.

Thank you, and will let you know what happens maybe on sunday with dp's parents.

Beth, What EXCITING news!!

First off...I must compliment the BEACH SCENE photo on your page. It's adorable, and reminds me of Summer.

Secondly, what a creative and fabulous idea...to have your DD tell your in~laws! Chelsea (Moo Moo) sounds like a genuine sweet-pea, selecting possible names (NEMO...LOL), opting to share SOME toys,etc. What a loving little girl. She will be blessed either way (sister or brother), and will be such a big help to you.

After hearing so many "opposite" stories, where the sibs are angry or resentful....and NOT anticipating the arrival of the new sibling, you are truly fortunate.

Congratulations!! Hope you are feeling better soon...and the feelings of nausea subside (they should soon). By Christmas...you should be doing much better!
