that in March Disney is going back to being able to book ADRs 180 days in advance. Has anyone else heard this?

I hope that is not true. Based on what I've been reading on the boards and from my own personal experience, it has been so much easier for people to get the ADR's they want now that it is at 90 days. I managed to get 2 dinner ADR's for 5 at Le Cellier for my upcoming May trip. I wasn't able to get our family in there for lunch, let alone dinner when it was at 180 days.

wow, that would be interesting...course CMs are not necessarily the best source of up to the minute info:rotfl:

I like it better at 180days! i hope it is true. Also, if that is true wouldn't they have to release the park hours earlier?!

I hope not! We just booked for May and got CRT, Chef Mickey, Le Cellier... We wouldn't have been able to get any of those if we had booked 3 months in advance when the 180 day window was in effect.

Aarrgghh! My 180th day would have been 2/25. I can't take the stress -- so now I'll need to call every morning in March in the hopes that they've returned to the 180 day window? Did the CM say if it would be March 1, or just some time in March?

I'd have to say that's VERY unlikely.

If they go back to 180 days for ADRs then they would also go back to 180 days for park hours. In this economy that's just not feasible.

I have been given TONS of incorrect information by Cast Members, both on the phone and in person!

agree that the 180 days for park schedule won't be happening...not until the economy turns around completely & recovery ain't gonna happen that fast.

What would be the point of making ADRs if you had no idea what parks would be open when?

Im just gonna say I dont care what they do but they need to pick one and stick with it.

All speculation and rumor of course, but I just read a post on another site that quoted an allears newsletter released today I think that said they were going to start publishing park hours 3 months out (kind of what they have been doing) -- supposedly also came from a CM or CM publication, so if that is correct, I think it would be highly unlikely they would revert to 180 for dining reservations.

They just switched to 90 from 180. They haven't even given it a chance to see which window suits WDW and its guests better.

My 180 days in one week....maybe I should call March 1st just to see what they tell me :)

I talked to a CM this afternoon. They now have a new system for ressies after May 26th I think. You have to select that option in the automated menu. Anyway, she told me that the window now opens up at 100 days out (90 + 10). I asked if she meant that it was 90 days from check-in, plus 10 days following. She checked with someone and told me it was 100 days out.

I was actually calling to check for any Chef Mickey's cancellations in June, so I haven't hit either deadline yet.

Anyone heard this about 100 days?

It sounds like the 90 days is better. Just wish they would post park hours more than the 90 days so we would have more time to organize what park we will be at.
