Just switched to AKL from Pop-crazy???

The overwhelming positive reviews of AKL make me feel very good about switching to AKL from the Dolphin. I will also be spending several days at the Poly. As much as I would like to try the Dolphin sometime, the AKL is less expensive and seems much more interesting. I am going in about a month and was pleased to get a AAA discount this close to my departure date.

Thanks, everyone! I am totally distracted by countdown mode at this point, which is not making my boss happy!

I truly appreciate all the great suggestions, and will make a point this trip to slow down and take it all in.

I have 2 DD now 12 & 8 and they loved the place.
One of their best memories is from how they were treated by all the CM's at AKL. They made great friends with most of the CM's in the gift shop, who helped explain pin trading better to all of us and they really helped them improve their pin collection they started on that trip. At the end of our stay, they knew when we were leaving from conversations with us, 2 CM's gave the girls some very nice and tough to get pins, just ot say goodbye.
The pool is great and the animals are a big plus.
We had a rental car and we used it everyday. I wouldn't go without one just so we had the flexibility to go where & when we wanted, whether it be to the parks or to another resort for dinner. Get the car. I dropped the family off at the front and I parked and enjoyed the quiet walk back thinking about the wondrful day we just had.
