Just switched from Poly GV to BWI Concierge - what next?

Hi all! We just switched our reservation from Poly GV to BWI Concierge. We arrive this Wednesday. We've never been to WDW over summer and we figured with the longer park hours and the heat we might be more apt to go back to the room during the day and take advantage of the goodies and such. Usually we don't go back to the room during the day. So what do we expect now? Will we receive any calls from the concierge staff since we are so close to arrival? Anything special about the BWI we should take note of or take advantage of? We're not even going to bother with a room request since things are so tight. Thanks for your input!
