Just switched from BLT to VWL... need help!

We are very excited to experience the Villas @ Wilderness Lodge but now need some guidance. Any great views or unique locations from a 1 bedroom villa? I would rather look at a pool or lake vs a parking lot There seems to be so much to do at this location. When we became members we promised ourselves we would experience all the WDW DVC's, so this is our 5th DVC location. We are very excited to have the opportunity to experience the VWL

We like to request the third floor or higher, above the pool or at least pool view. As there aren't many rooms that meet these criteria, we've only had partial luck in the past. After that, any room on the lake side of the Villas is our preference, again third floor or higher. We've had excellent views of the lake, sometimes the pool, and usually we get glimpses of the EWP on the lake through the trees, as well as being able to see the higher fireworks of Wishes. As most will tell you, your main view no matter where you are will be of trees, but that's not such a bad thing. VWL is our home resort, and we love the serenity, the theming, and the close proximity to MK via the boats. Hope you have a great time there.

Most of the villas have a woods view. A few can see the pool and a few can see the lake through the trees. None really have a parking lot view. It is a very small resort.

Deb is correct, VWL is a woodsy place.

LOVED this resort...so far, our FAVORITE! We had a woodsy view as well, but it's GORGEOUS there. From the second you walk in, you'll be hooked. Explore the resort, just gorgeous. We did a Sweethearts Dinner at Artist Point and WOW, one of the best meals we've had on property yet! We didn't find one negative thing to say about this resort, just love it!
