It is a very nice resort! HOWEVER....we were in a studio and I thought it was VERY strange to have to get ready in the kitchenette area. I also had a difficult time with the marble floors in the bathroom and the kitchenette...VERY slippery! I almost fell a couple of times. Other than that, bed was VERY comfy. There was lots of room and we didn't feel like we were crowded at all. DEFINITELY want to stay there again. Only other problems were my key card didn't work in my room and the key card entry to the front doors was broke the last night we were there. ALSO, I think they REALLY need to be able to program the key cards so that guests staying there can go up to the TOTWL without having to bother the front desk person.
We too went to BLT right after the members cruise, and I have to say (at great risk of being flamed) that I was so not impressed. I had really high expectations what with all the positive reviews, and in their favor, our studio room was ready at 10 a.m. when we arrived and we had been given a Magic Kingdom view on the 10th floor although we had booked a lakeview room. However, like you, I thought the whole bathroom sink/kitchen area was very strange...I felt guilty spraying my hairspray knowing that it was going to settle on the kitchenette area. Just didn't seem right to be brushing hair, teeth, etc. in the kitchenette. We had seen a 1 BR at the preview center last year and thought it looked lovely, but strangely the studio was lacking any character....It felt as if it could have been a Hampton Inn. Also, I found it strange that there is no store or restaurant in the BLT tower...having to go over to the Contemporary to buy anything seemed really inconvenient to me. Anyhow, I guess that is why they continue to build different

And that's where they stuck us all 3 times we've been at SSR!
(maybe because we *don't* own at SSR? Hmmmm)
