just started my trip report!! but a technical question too?

well its only taking a month but i've finally started my first ever trip report! it seems to have grown as i was typing so its a lot longer than i originally thought but i want to remember it all so oh well!

what i actually came to ask was how do i put the link in my siggie without having to put the whole link?
ie: disneyjo has a link saying "Read about my WDW Moms Panel Training Here" and you click on it to be redirected, instead of my link that says "link to such and such: www.blahdeblahetc.com...."
ive looked over on the technical board but still cant figure out how to do it, can someone give me the idiots guide?

When you post a link using the little world plus chain icon thingy the link will appear in your signature with part of it highlighted.

You can just overtype the highlighted bit with anything you want it to say.

ETA. It's just like in any message you post; the icon is in the toolbar above your editing box (it took me years to find it!!)

So you could just have My first ever attempt at a trip report!

Just beware the link facility adds http:// automatically so don't include it in your link again.

my signature permissions are:
Allow Basic BBCode Yes
Allow Color BBCode Yes
Allow Size BBCode Yes
Allow Font BBCode YesAllow Alignment BBCode Yes
Allow List BBCode Yes
Allow Link BBCode Yes
Allow Code BBCode NoAllow PHP BBCode No
Allow HTML BBCode No
Allow Quote BBCode Yes
Allow HTML NoAllow Smilies Yes
Allow Code Yes
Can Upload Images for Signature No
Can Upload Animated GIF for Signature No

would any of these allow me not to do it? if so can i change them?

Mine are all the same so you should be OK.

The link to your trip report should look something like this:

(URL="http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2039627")My First Ever Trip Report(/URL)

but use [ and ] instead of ( and )

I'm enjoying your report so far by the way.
