hey everyone. My wife and I are going a caribbean cruise in october for a week and we decided to spend a couple days in orlando as well. I was originally planning on going to universal for those 2 days however we got some of our friends to come on the vacation with us and they wanna do disney instead. So right now we are trying to decide which resort to vist.
We will be in orlando from the 7th-10th of october. So that gives us all day on the 8th and 9th to spend in the parks. I was wondering what the crowd levels are like this time of year at universal. I'd assume we would probably be able to do almost everything at the 2 universal parks if its not crowded.
I havnt been to universal studios florida in over 15 years but I have always loved universal parks. I even think I enjoy universal studios hollywood as much as disneyland. However my wife as well as the couple that will be vacationing with us thought universal studios hollywood was boring and think that the universal orlando parks will be the same and we would just be waisting our time and money there. I've tried explaining that you can't compare universal hollywood to the florida parks cause the florida parks have so much more to offer and were designed as theme parks from the start. Not just added to the production studio like hollywood is. Anyways is there any other advice you have to help show them that universal orlando isn't like universal hollywood?
I know each resort (universal and disney) have there pros and cons and we would have a great time ether way. I would love to do disney but with the cost being double that of universal and having only 2 days there I just don't think disney would be worth it. We would be running everywhere and only be able to do the major attractions at each park. Where at universal we wouldn't feel rushed and we would be able to do mostly everthing there.
Anyways any advice or help you could give would be great. Thanks.
