Just wondering...

1. How long after your first disney cruise did you go on your second?
2. If they do a disney cruise out of California, going to Mexican Baja or Alaska, would you go?
3. Who has been on the most disney cruises since they started? In a one year?
4. What was the strangest/funniest thing that has ever happened to you or your family while on a Disney crruise?

Just for fun.
Thank you, Steph

Our second cruise happened exactly one year later.
I would like to it all depends on the cost.
I bet it is Barb and Tony.
It must be early in the am but I can't think of anything strange or really funny.

We booked our second cruise while on board for the same week in August, for one year later.

I would enjoy going to Alaska, I've had family members and friends go to Alaska and they loved it.

Not to be funny (O.K., yes I am) but I would say the CM's have been on the most cruises, since they started. The question didn't state, paying customers, LOL!!! But, I'm sure it would be Barb and Tony, as paying customers go.

The funniest thing I can think of was losing my glasses on the BBR at CC last August on the last day of the cruise, which resulted in me walking into the ladies room at the MCO airport, the next day, because I didn't read the restroom sign correctly.

1. How long after your first disney cruise did you go on your second? First cruise was a 3-day in October of '99 - next cruise was a 7-day in May of 2001.

2. If they do a disney cruise out of California, going to Mexican Baja or Alaska, would you go? I'd sail Disney to Alaska in a heartbeat. Only thing is that Alaska cruises don't sail out of California.

3. Who has been on the most disney cruises since they started? In a one year? Barb & Tony for sure!

4. What was the strangest/funniest thing that has ever happened to you or your family while on a Disney crruise? Lots of fun things happened, but nothing strange or funny that I can recall.

1. First cruise was May 2002, 2nd was Jan 2003, next is Dec 2004. We'll probably slow down considerably because DD will be over 13 and have to pay full price!

2. Probably not. CA is too far for us. But if we could get good airfare, it might be a way to get DH to consider cruising in 2005 (we'll have been to all the DCL stops from PC by then).

3. I'm sure it's Barb and Tony

4. Strangest thing for us was our first cruise, DD got separated from DH right before the boat drill. We hadn't checked them into the kids program, so she was truly lost for about 1 hour (all services closed during the boat drill). It definitely was scary! Lesson learned, we now check the kids into the program immediately when they open! That way we have a pager and they know which room we're in (DD got the numbers mixed up, 7005 became 7050 to her).

1. How long after your first disney cruise did you go on your second? First cruise was a 3-day in October of '01 - next cruise was a 7-day in January of 2003.

2. If they do a disney cruise out of California, going to Mexican Baja or Alaska, would you go? Absolutely.

3. Who has been on the most disney cruises since they started? In a one year? I know it isn't us.:(

4. What was the strangest/funniest thing that has ever happened to you or your family while on a Disney cruise? Funniest thing was how loudly DD said "WHAT?" during the disembarkation talk when the cruise direction said "tomorrow, when you get off the ship".

We went on our first Disney cruise last October 26 and booked on board for this June 26. We would love to do the California cruise if that materializes. :hyper:

First cruise December 22-29, 2001; Second cruise January 5-9, 2003. In my opinion, way too long to wait!

2. If they do a disney cruise out of California, going to Mexican Baja or Alaska, would you go?

I would go as long as it weren't more than 7 days AND if I could find a good airfare deal.

3. Who has been on the most disney cruises since they started? In a one year?

We've done 1 7-day and 2 4-day Disney cruises. By far we have not had nearly as many as many of the DISrs on this board!

4. What was the strangest/funniest thing that has ever happened to you or your family while on a Disney crruise?

I honestly can't think of one!

1. Our last cruise was in '99' and we will be going again this August. We go when we have enough saved up so we can pay in full.

2.I'm hoping for Alaska, if DCL doesn't hurry up with an Alaska itinerary, I may have to go with another cruise line. I hope it doesn't come to that. But as you can see from #1, Disney has a little time to set that up before we're ready to go again.

3. Again as you can see by #1, it is not us.

4. During the life boat drill my wife said, "I don't remember this ever being on "The Love Boat". That got a pretty good laugh from people around us. That still remember "The Love Boat".

Steph,

C1. 6 months. I went on my birthday on the Wonder for 4 days. This was in 2002. I am going again in 2005. 2. I think Alaska would be fun! It would depend on the cost though.
3. Nope just 2 in 2002! Once in May & November!
4. I can honestly say nothing!

Allison

1. 1st== 1998, 2nd = 2001, 3rd = 2003 (next one planned for 2005), but moving down there soon to be able to cruise much more frequently:bounce:

2. Alaska = Absolutely YES! Just waiting for DCL to go to Alaska.
Mexico = maybe

3. Not me. I vote for Barb, too. Even moving to FL I'll never catch up with her :)

4. On our 1st trip we would play volleyball on Deck 10 with other people in the afternoon & this was before they had the entire court netted in. The first two days I can't tell you how many volleyballs were hit over the ship's rail into the ocean. {It was hysterical at the time!:rolleyes: :hyper: }

3. Who has been on the most disney cruises since they started? In a one year?
Barb and Tony... Wish it was me!!!

4. What was the strangest/funniest thing that has ever happened to you or your family while on a Disney crruise? I got pregnant with my bonus baby after 2 years of infertility.

1st cruise was Feb 2004 next cruise will hopefully be Feb 2006. The next one after that will NOT be two years in between!

2. If they do a disney cruise out of California, going to Mexican Baja or Alaska, would you go?
As long as it is warm I would probably go anywhere Disney goes. No one said I have to get off the ship!
3. Who has been on the most disney cruises since they started? In a one year?
I think Barb and Tony just beat Micky and Minnie
4. What was the strangest/funniest thing that has ever happened to you or your family while on a Disney crruise?
Getting paged out of the evening show on our St. Marteen Port day. No, No my daughter was not ready to come out of the club.... at 9:25 (you must reboard the ship by 9:30) guest services wanted to know if I was aware that my husband was not back on the ship yet. You see he and my brother lost track of time a bit while drinking on shore. They made it back with about two minutes to spare. It's funny now, but it would have been funnier then if they had actually missed the boat!
:hyper:

This would have been me on deck to them -->

Great topic!!!!

1. We sailed our first Disney Cruise (7-day Eastern) March 16th, 2002. Rebooked for the same week for 2003, and booked the Western.

2. Yes, we would do Mexican Riviera, Baja cruise w/Disney in a heartbeat. (Not an Alaskan, too cold.)

3. Barb and Tony

4. Strangest funniest thing that happened? DH and DD laughing at me trying to carry three plates from the midnight dessert buffet back to our room! (I shouldn't have shared any of it with them! )

1. four years (unfortunately)
2. maybe - depends on airfare - we are closer to FL than CA
3. Barb & Tony
4. I'm probably forgetting a lot, but here's a silly thing - I saw a handsome man in a tux who was the spittin image of Christopher Walken come out of the comedy club and head for the john. So convinced I was it was him, we waited til he came out (this was dead time waiting for late seating to open) then tried to act nonchalant when it turned out not to be him. Can't picture him on a Disney cruise anyway. Now as far as fun unexpected entertainment, that would have to be the good looking and well chiseled crew member of the Golden Eagle Catamaran hose himself off in front of all the women on the boat. He was so good at it, I felt like applauding at the end. ;)
