What exactly does this mean:confused3

Is this the new " My Bad"

It means take it for what it's worth. No hard feelings-or good feelings...just that person's pt. of view.

I thought it was another way of saying IMHO.

Unfortunately lately it's being used as sarcasm.
Like, "you're taking a trip to WDW when you're on welfare and can't pay the rent!":confused3 It's sort of the new , used in a passive-agressive way.

Ok thats not so bad. I was not taking it that way so I thought I should check.

I agree that it's just another way of saying, "In my opinion.."

I use it - example: conversation with my college kid. So, you avoided me for 2 days, you must have flunked your music mid term.....he gives me the look......."I'm just saying" comes out of my mouth.......

It kind of means - I'm just saying, I'm not going to take it any further but you know what I am getting at.

oh heck, does that make sense.

I will use this with my kids I know it:thumbsup2

Ok, let's see.

An example would be poster #1 tells poster #2 that their spelling is awful.

Poster #3 then points out that poster #1 had a spelling error in their post also. Just sayin. Sort of like, I'm only pointing it out, I have no dog in this fight, don't get mad at me for it.

A young couple decide to move on in their relationship, and the girl is meeting the boys parents for the first time. She's super nervous and asks how she looks. The boy tells her she looks like a hooker. Just sayin. He has to be honest with her because it's an important event, but don't get mad at him for it.

Kind of like a "you should know even though I don't want to be the one to tell you" type of thing?

This is a very concise and accurate definition Jimmy Picker. I'm just sayin'

Just one of the current 'in' phrases. Another would be can't wrap my arms/mind/head around this. There are always a few phrases or words that are in. During the political season, we were treated to vetted, peel back and drill down.

Didn't hear either one of those, we must have been listening to different groups.....I'm just saying

We use "Can't wrap our brains around it" often.
Example:
I can't wrap my brain around why my son can know when brownies are coming out of the oven when he is 15 miles away, but he has yet to fugure out when to leave it alone and just shut up.

I'm just saying......;)
