What exactly does this mean![]()
Is this the new " My Bad"

It means take it for what it's worth. No hard feelings-or good feelings...just that person's pt. of view.
Unfortunately lately it's being used as sarcasm.
Like, "you're taking a trip to WDW when you're on welfare and can't pay the rent!"It's sort of the new
, used in a passive-agressive way.
I use it - example: conversation with my college kid. So, you avoided me for 2 days, you must have flunked your music mid term.....he gives me the look......."I'm just saying" comes out of my mouth.......
It kind of means - I'm just saying, I'm not going to take it any further but you know what I am getting at.
oh heck, does that make sense.
I thought it meant my mistake. What exactly does this mean![]()

I thought it meant my mistake.
You thought "just saying" meant "my mistake"? How would it be used like that?Ok, let's see.
An example would be poster #1 tells poster #2 that their spelling is awful.
Poster #3 then points out that poster #1 had a spelling error in their post also. Just sayin. Sort of like, I'm only pointing it out, I have no dog in this fight, don't get mad at me for it.
A young couple decide to move on in their relationship, and the girl is meeting the boys parents for the first time. She's super nervous and asks how she looks. The boy tells her she looks like a hooker. Just sayin. He has to be honest with her because it's an important event, but don't get mad at him for it.
Kind of like a "you should know even though I don't want to be the one to tell you" type of thing?
Just one of the current 'in' phrases. Another would be can't wrap my arms/mind/head around this. There are always a few phrases or words that are in. During the political season, we were treated to vetted, peel back and drill down.

Didn't hear either one of those, we must have been listening to different groups.....I'm just sayingJust one of the current 'in' phrases. Another would be can't wrap my arms/mind/head around this.
