I know cameras aren't allowed at the previews... Are people able to check their bags, or is it better to not bring them at all?
We saw the 1:00pm show Saturday and all four of us (two age 25, one age 19, one age 55) HATED it. Terrible acting - especially James Franco. Mila Kunis tried but her part as one of the wicked sisters was just awful. Poor Michelle Williams had a frozen look on her face for most if the movie, like she knew it was terrible, but what could she do about it?
We also spent a lot of time talking about the plot - just dumb for the most part - the characters, none of them very likeable - and the sidekicks! If they based it on the book they were stuck but watching James Franco try to act with an animated china doll a foot high was just creepy.
Ugh - we just hated it. So disappointing.
Can you guys shed some light on the word "Free" that the OP used? We are going there next week and have this setup to see it one day at the dine in AMC....is there some special rate or something for DVC??
What is the fascination with James Franco anyway? Is it because he was on General Hospital for a while?
Although how were DVC members chosen to get into the FREE screening of the movie? I have not heard or seen anything on this.
Many of those that got the e-mail invite were locals. There were a number of people at WDW for the Princess 1/2 marathon that also got the invite. So it appears they also sent invites to members that had reservations during the time the screenings took place (2/23 & 2/24 at Epcot).
That's nice of them to offer this perk! Will or have they offered to us West Coast DVC members for a So Cal screening?
I was at DLR last weekend (AP holder) and they had an AIR balloon out for advertisment of the movie - they passed out buttons & let some people float around alittle on it as well for only an hour.
