Just Saved $700

I am so happy! We are going 12/31-1/07. I decided to make 2 separate ressies in case a code or discount started on 1-1. We have 2 rooms booked at CSR and by changing the checkin to 1-1-08, I saved a total of $700. Now I might not be too disappionted if I don't get a code!

I did the same thing! We are going on December 30 - January 5 staying at the ASMU Family Suite. I saved $450 by making two reservations. They said they couldn't guarantee that I could stay in the same suite but hopefully we can. I think the whole process is so silly! Why not just let us have one reservation and two different rates for the different season we are in! It would be alot less work for them!

I am new to the boards. We have AAA and have set up ressie's for Dec 29th 2008 - Jan 7th, 2009. As of right now there are no discounts available. Do you think it would be better if I booked two separate ressies? I think we are being charged holiday rates all the way thru. If I do two res's should I put one in DH's name and the other in my name? We are staying at POR.
