We just returned from a seven day Disney extravaganza that was fantastic. Our first day there was on Saturday, June 17th. Believe it or not the crowds for the first two hours of the day were non-existent. We rode Space Mountain with no wait, Buzz Lightyear-3 times in a row with no wait and with some savvy fast pass manipulation did not wait for Splash Mountain or Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Most rides throughout the day were walk on with no wait. Including Philharmagic, Tiki Room, Stitch, TTC, Carosel, Haunted Mansion (3 times - no fast pass and no wait). We used Fast Passes on Pooh and Jungle Cruise but still no wait.
Next day was MGM. Again crowds were very light. We rode Tower of Terror (3 times- no wait), Rock N Roller Coaster (just once), and Star Tours with out waiting. We had a little bit of hold up on The Great Movie Ride when a jokester somewhere in front of us decided to change the ropes on the cue line so that there was no exit. A little annoying when your going through it, but hilarious when you think about it later. I don't recommend trying it though. The Cast Members were not amused.
Next day was Epcot and what a way to start the day. We were chosen as the Family of the Day. We got to ride across Epcot in a Test Track car that was modified for the road. We were the first on Test Track that day, they took us over for priority seating on Mission Space. And gave us a Special Pass to go to the front of the line on any ride of our choice (we chose Soarin of course). They also provided us with a free picture of our ride on Test Track. The crowds were starting to get a little heavier. But again having some priority seatings and using Fast Pass wisely got us through the day with little wait on anything.
We did Animal Kingdom as well as Epcot and Magic Kingdom again and had a simply wonderful vacation. I will admit the day after we left I was happy to be leaving and glad to be home. Now I am ready to return and stay another week.
If you have questions. Fire Away!
