I have to say for such a short trip it was great!!! 
We stayed at SSR and we received our request for the Grandstand. We did online checki-in which went fairly smooth. I would do it again. And also our room was ready at 12:30!!!
We never made it to rope drop on any of our previous trips but on this trip we did on 2 days. The first being Thurs. 7/2 and it was EMH at MK. Let me tell you, this was the way to go!! We rode more than 12 rides all before 11 am including all the main rides. It was great!! It was so worth getting the kids up early. Also we ate dinner at The Plaza Restaurant for the first time and it was a great casual, air conditioned location!!! Simple food and exactly what we were looking for!! And then we were back at MK on Friday 7/3 for DD's 6th Birthday! We opted for the B'day FP because we have AP's and again that was the way to go. We were able to get 6 FP's for each member of our 6 person group that day. Yes, that is 36 total FPs on a very busy day. 
We were shocked, because we thought for sure, being it was going to be a busy day that we would get less. We were very, very excited!!! My DD was so cute in picking her rides!! Also she was so excited, because when we went into Tinker Bell's Treasures store, she was able to wake Tinker Bell up!!! That just made her day on top of it being her Birthday!!! DD picked her birthday dinner at The Crystal Palace. Love it there!!! Always have such great experiences every time we dine there!! Pooh and the gang were amazing!! I actually fell off my chair in front of Tigger and the gentleman that he is, he helped me up and then gave me a kiss!!! 
Very funny, but a little embarassing!! We did stay however for the fireworks and what crowds on Main St. 
We stood in the middle of the street about 15 mins. before show time, and it was worth it. The fireworks were awesome!!! And honestly for us it was not too much of a nightmare to get out of there.
All and all a wonderful trip!!! I was really stressing out before we left about the heat and the crowds and don't get me wrong it was warm, but I was very shocked about the crowds. Very manageable!! Also it could have been the way we planned out our days. Who knows!!! Now I am so looking forward to our trip in October. It will be our first stay at Kidani. And I am also looking forward to F&W and MNSSHP!!!
