This was the first time staying here and I'll have to say that I. LOVED IT, LOVED IT, LOVED IT!!!
This trip was for our 25th anniversary. After much going back and forth with which type of room to book, I just decided to book a standard room. Also when I booked my ressie on line there is a place to type any requests... so I put "25 anniv. King bed please"
We arrived on Friday around 10:30 and the girl checking us in said we had been upgraded to a Lagoon view room on the Club level (which took a minute to sink in). Then she escourted us upstarts to the 5th floor and to our room... it was Beautiful!!! King bed, beautiful view of the lagoon and the pool, and a large balcony. The Club room was always stocked with sodas, water, beer, wine, coffee plus different treats throughout the day! Needless to say we were thrilled!
Everyone was so nice here, it was a real pleasure to walk thru the lobby and have the cast members all say hello and happy anniversary. We loved the location of the resort also, being close to Epcot, MGM and the Boardwalk.
We had lunch the first day at the Yacht Club Galley rest., We thought it was very good, the clam chowder was excellent. Had a burger and ice cream at Beaches & Cream, good as always.
Anyway, we would DEFINITELY return to this resort... we had a magical time!
