Just returned from the BLT!!

This was our first stay at the BLT's and loved the place!! We arrived on April 2nd just before noon time and our room was ready (never had that happen before). Checked into 7216 and even though we booked a standard view we could see the Magic Kingdom from our room and watched the fireworks one night from the bed. This was a two bedroom unit and the third full bathroom was great. I was not a fan of the water pressure of the shower though, it knocks you over! Sun burn and high pressure water, not a good combo.
Overall we had a great week with perfect weather allowing us to spend mornings in the park and afternoons in the pool.

Sounds great! We were there two years ago in a two bedroom also and I LOVED it. We didn't have a view, but I really enjoyed going upstairs watch the fireworks from the lounge! I forgot about the shower until you mentioned it, but now I do remember that too!

Thanks for your trip report. The last time I checked into Bay Lake Tower it was at 9:30 am and was surprised to be told that my Grand Villas was ready for me. A great start to my stay!

Having the room ready was such a treat. All we did was use the bathroom and leave our bags on the beds before leaving for the parks, but it was soooo nice to do that and not worry about them.

Glad you had a great time!!

We're heading down this Saturday......and this is the first time we will be arriving before 4PM check in time!! We should be arriving around noonish. I didn't do online check-in this trip because last year I DID do it and we ended up on the 6th floor (requested highest floor possible). I KNOW it's just a request, but jeez, at least get us half way up!! LOL!!!

So this time I don't want them having our packet ready upon arrival, in case there's a chance we can wait a few hours longer for a better room. I suppose there isn't a bad view (well, unless you're lower than the 5th floor). I'm hoping for some pixie dust!!!

FYI, for your next BLT trip, you can turn back the water pressure in the shower. After you turn it on just turn the lever back towards off until you get the pressure you want, it doesn't affect the temperature just the water pressure.

We were at blt the same time. We had a std view studio on the first floor with a view of the foliage inside the courtyard. We were very happy with the entire resort. Our room was one of the rennovated rooms with the sink moved and bathroom door issues fixed. We are looking forward to our next standard room stay!

Hey that was **OUR** room Awesome value for for standard points eh? We were in love with that room; I thought it was awesome to be so lucky to get it as it was our first stay there just after BLT opened in 2009.

I hear there is a way to lower the pressure, I am going to have to check that out personally. Glad you had a great trip!

I did discover that if you slide the level on the shower back a bit so the water drips out of the faucet the pressure is not that bad.
