Happy to answer any questions. We stayed 2 nights. Very modern resort. We are a family of 5 and were pleasantly surprised with the nice size of the room. It did not feel crowded at all. The bathroom was huge! My 12 year old dd slept on the sofa bed and said it was like a regular bed. You couldn't feel the springs through the mattress. It was very clean. Overall a big thumbs up from us! :thumbsup2

That was a really great deal! Nice that you were able to take advantage of it!

How much was the stuffed frog? Also, was the bathroom a tub or walk in shower? We're going Nov. 8-10 and we've never been there before. The free upgrade should get us a Stunning room. I booked a Deluxe Captivating room.

Sorry I don't know how much the stuffed frog costs. We quickly moved him out of the way so the kids wouldn't see him. We had already spent enough that week.

The bathroom had a tub and a walk in shower. Both were huge! We had a captivating deluxe queen because we wanted the whirpool tub. The kids loved it!

One more question, please. Do the beds have feather pillows and blankets? I've tried finding out online and emailing the hotel but haven't been able to get that question answered. If they do then I need to pack my own pillow. Thanks for answering my questions.

We also stayed this weekend with the rate in BunkBeds room. The room was big and the bed a king. Traffic around the area is not great. The pool was nothing special, and the breakfast menu was not kid friendly so we drove to McDonalds. Ok for the price, but it would not be my destination with kids.

I'm not 100% but they seemed like down to me. Very fluffy.

I have a question for those who stayed at the B Resort: how was the shuttle transportation? How long did it take to get to the Magic Kingdom? We're trying to consider if it's best to rent a car since the mouse savers deal includes free parking. Thanks!!

Not sure if late, but I saw the pricetag on a TripAdvisor photo (29 dlls)

We are also taking advantage of the Mousesavers deal November 8-11.

We booked a captivating queen park room. We will see how it goes.

How were the breakfasts? Did they have a shuttle running for the Halloween special event nights or only regular park hours. Did you find the shuttle efficient? We are Poly lovers but are out priced this go around.

Thanks!!

Just got back from 2 nights at the B Resort. We had the Mousesavers Hot Deal rate.

The Good: Check-In and Out was smooth and quick. All staff we encountered were friendly. There was water in the lobby. The water with the slices of orange and lime was a nice touch. Our Stunning Deluxe King room on the 15th floor overlooked DTD and EPCOT. We actually saw the fireworks from our room. Everything in the room was so clean and well kept it was amazing. The room was big even though the closet was small. The bathroom was nice. It was big with a walk-in shower big enough for 4 people. There was no tub. Not that great on water pressure. The bed must not have feathers since it didn't give me any trouble. It was like sleeping on a cloud. I woke up without pain for the first time in awhile.

We ate at American Q for dinner one night. It wasn't crowded at all. Good food and great service. You put the little piggy stick up to show you want them to come to your table with more meat so you're not bothered when you're trying to eat. They had 8 different meat selections. The buffet had 4 soups, a small salad bar, corn on the cob, whole sweet and regular baked potatoes, peel and eat shrimp, and a few regular sides like mac and cheese and spinach casserole. Every buffet comes with a little skillet of cornbread to share with honey butter and jalapeno butter. They brought the different BBQ sauces to your table but I found the meat just fine without it. The flank steak and brisket were so good I had seconds. We had a 2 for 1 coupon on the buffet. Not sure if we would have gone had we paid full price.

The snacks in the room are $5 a piece and the beverage cooler does have removable shelves which was great. We were able to use it for our PUR Pitcher so we always had cold water. It's really small though and doesn't get that cold.

There are two different sizes of frogs at the little store/ice cream shop. The smaller version is $20 and the larger (like in the room) is $29.

The Bad: The AC does make a lot of noise and couldn't decide whether to stay hot or cold. We got used to it after awhile and it didn't disturb our sleep. The bus service was not great. It's at least 30 minutes between buses. At this time, you share a bus with the other hotels on the same side of the street as the B Resort. They are designated A for one side of the street and B for the other. The buses go to two places such as Magic Kingdom/Animal Kingdom or EPCOT/Hollywood Studios. It was the only real downside to staying at this resort.

If anyone has any other questions, I'll be happy to answer them.

Looking to stay at B (using Mousesavers Rate)...can anyone tell me the difference between a King Deluxe room vs. non-deluxe? Does not appear to be any difference when I compare online. Also, are they still offering free upgrades to next level (captivating to stunning) - would love to get on a higher level floor, so wondering if we should just pay for it initially...$16 more a night. Thx.

From the description looks "Deluxe Rooms feature more square footage."

We booked the room using the mousesavers deal. The price for our room was $129. I didn't receive an email confirmation, so on the way to the hotel I called to confirm our reservation. They sent me a confirmation with the price of $96. We arrived and I went to check in. I was asked for ID and credit card and to sign-in. I noted there was no total on the bill I was to sign, so I asked the woman at the counter to verify what amount I as agreeing to. The answer was $149. I was upset and felt like the hotel was being devious. I showed them the email they sent me and told them of the mousesavers price, but there was no resolution. So, I cancelled the reservation, called Disney and booked a WONDERFUL room at Port Orleans for around $180 something. The grounds were beautiful, fun boat ride to DD, and great CMs. I learned my lesson.

You need to let Mousesavers know their offer was not honored and contact the manager of the B Resort about what transpired. I am sure nothing went past that woman and they need to know how she handled it.

If you Tweet (or use other social media) you can get an upgrade (B resort will send you an email, which I printed out and presented at checkin), but Mousesavers should also get you one. We upgraded to a pool view balcony room, although we had the option for a tower room with a view of DTD but no balcony access. (if you want the view, make sure your room # is 14-22, ex. 1618 was the corner room on the 16th floor with a view.) We were very happy with our choice! We were there from 1/29-2/1 of this year.

Will we like this hotel if we usually stay deluxe? I was able to book a B Jr suite for a reasonable price for an anniversary get away. Unfortunately, DH and I are kind of "hotel snobs" for vacations - we'll stay anywhere for the kids' travel sports or just a place to crash on the road but when we actually stay somewhere for several days, we want a little higher level hotel. I'm not looking for four seasons, I just don't want motel 6. Short version - do you think this is on the level of a deluxe?

Thanks!

I've never stayed Deluxe at Disney but the décor at the B was chic and modern, and made us feel like we were in an upscale resort. (We have also traveled for sports and would try and stay in a Hampton Inn so I get that part). The interior first floor rooms (even #s) faced the pool and had couches. There are pics on one of the threads...so cool! The 2nd floor balcony had a couple of chairs and a table. There is one room category that had the clear shower doors with a huge shower (someone posted about that here as well) but I don't know which one.

We did use the Spa (not cheap, but we did get a $20 off any spa service over $100 which helped). They always had a cooler or two of water (lemons and limes in one!) in the lobby. DD thought the floor in the bathroom area looked dirty but I went to wipe the spots they didn't move so I thought it was probably paint spots. Just a warning...the mirror in the sink area makes you look SCARY!!! :scared1: I guess we weren't used to that type of lighting. They have free coffee and organic tea in the dining area (I like strong coffee so to me it was a bit weak) from 8-12. You can pick up a muffin and other small snacks (they had yogurt and granola, so healthy options there as well) in The Pickup on the first floor near the lobby.
Overall, I thought it was pretty nice and would def stay there again.

Could you please contact me regarding this issue. This is exactly what we are going through now. Mousesavers doesn't show the deal we booked our room with and original confirmation doesn't state our rate, and after seeing complaints about B Resort not honoring Mousesavers promo rates, I contacted hotel and asked what was my rate. I was shocked to learn it was way over what I though I am getting through them. And unfortunately I have to way to proof my original rate because their email with confirmation doesn't shate any rate at all...
All these doesn't feel right to me...

My issue was the rate was different at check-in and there was no confirmation email when I originally made the reservation. I asked for the manager once we arrived, but he/she just sent a message back saying she wouldn't alter the rate. It wasn't the money!!! It was how they behaved. Yes, I paid more at Disney, but the room, service, and convience can't be beat. We're from Maryland and are staying in a cabin at Fort Wildernes now for a wonderful Easter trip.
