We really enjoyed our stay at RPR from start to finish. Check-in went smoothly (Loew's gold) we asked for upgrade but the hotel was full so none available. We had 2 rooms, 2545 and 2546, Tower 2, 5th floor. 2546 had a lovely view of the lush landscaping around the entrance to the hotel, while 2545 was on the opposite side of the hall and overlooked the interstate. The rooms were very comfortable and housekeeping did a great job. The beds are firm but comfortable, the hallways are a little noisy. At check-in we requested our Loews First arrival "gift" (wine for one room, beer for the other). I called the desk after several hours to ask when it would be delivered
and, because it was late getting to us, they sent 2 bottles of wine and twice the beer! The pool is beautiful, the poolside drink/food service is a little slow.
The lobby is just beautiful..the Orchid Lounge is a great place to sit at the end of the day and enjoy a drink. The Sushi Bar was also very good. We ate the breakfast buffet at Islands Dining Room, $16.50 per adult, a good selection of hot and cold items. Jake's American Bar and Grill serves burgers and sandwiches and there's a nice spot where you can sit outside and enjoy a waterfall. I love this hotel, the service is good, the grounds are gorgeous
and the express pass is the only way to go.

Hi,
It's really nice to hear about the RPH, we are going there for our 1st visit in June...hearing about other peoples experiences make it even more exciting:banana: .

:woohoo:
glad you enjoyed the RPR....out of that and HRH, that's our fave!

Thanks for posting, our 1st stay this June - have a question.

If you had a car, did you use valet or self-park?

Guidebook indicated that self-parking is @ a premium, was a 'far flung' - by convention center:confused:

Motherflecher - I know I saw the GM's name on something but I can't remember. If you look on the main Loew's wesite you should find it.
Keishashadow - we self-parked 2 cars, but at check-in I only reported one. I agree that a 12.00 per day fee is bit much for sel-parking, especially if you never use for car during your stay. The lot really is no further from the convention center than the rest of the hotel.

thanx; will probably just valet for convenience sake
