Just Returned from Disney World 6/10/05

Just returned from Disney World. Great time had by all. First time with 5 year old. Remember patience with kids. Stayed at Contemporary, close to Magic Kingdom. 24 Food court is a plus. Able to refill mugs at anytime. Hotel also has arcade next to food court. All rooms have refridgerators.Good shopping at Emporium at Magic Kingdom. Did all 4 parks. Epcot was fun, didn't do countries, thought that would not be of interest to our son. Hubby and I had done before. Recommend Fast Pass for Sorain at Epcot, otherwise wait is long. Magic Kingdom was great, recommend fast pass for Buzz Lightyear and probably Thunder Mountain and Splash Mountain. didn't get to those rides. Small world, peter pan flight, pirates of the caribbean, were great. Animal Kingdom was good, Lion King show was great, Tarzan Rocks was good but loud. Dinoland was good for the kids at the end of the day. Also did safari ride which you need Fast pass for. MGM was good, didn't spend much time, did Muppet show and never got back to that park. Can't wait to go back.

Thanks for replying. The overall weather was hot and humid. Typical Florida, rain every afternoon. Rained while we were in Magic Kingdom, so to stay out of rain, we walked through the Emporium, and other stores on Main Street.
The crowds were a little heavier than usual for the time in June that we went.
We recommend using Fast Pass on Buzz Lightyear ride. Road Sorin', if you
are afraid of heights don't ride, but would recommend Fast Pass, our 5 year old son and husband loved it.
