Wanted to comment on all the threads about Coronado Springs. Just returned from there 5 days ago. Although I had a problem with the staff with a personal situation, the resort is very nice. Southwest theme is done very well. As far as the location of your room, it can be a long walk to the lobby/restaurants if you are in Ranchos. I was in Ranchos 6B and it was a long walk. But, that depends on your perspective and time of year. I was there last week in July and it was very hot and crowded. Had I been there in Oct when a nice walk in the morning would have been great! As far as the Pepper Market, again time of year is key here. The wait to get in the place in July was very long. This is tough because you wait to get a table, then you wait in line for your choice of food. Great concept though, especially for picky kids. Everyone in your family can get the food they choose. I'm not sure about the service charge, it seemed they charge you whether it's to go or not. No one ever asked if I was staying or going. There are also 4 bus stop sites at this resort. You don't have to walk to the lobby to catch a bus to any theme park. Pool site was cool, kids loved the slide. Overall, very nice moderate resort. If you can, also check out the Maya Grill. Kind of expensive, but the food was great!

Thanks for the review. We will be staying at CSR for the first time in 2 weeks. I am looking forward to it. :cheer2:

Did you happen to be on the dining plan? I wanted some info on it at the Pepper Market. I will also be there in 2 weeks, our first visit to this resort.

Thanks for the review.

I went ONCE in July and never again. We were also in Rancho 6b. That was before the internal shuttles. Did you get a chance to use them or were they also busy? Florida is just to darn hot and crowded during the summer months. You are correct, April or October/November are great times to go. We have been there during both those times and it makes a huge difference as far as being crowded goes. But summer is always crowded at WDW.

Thanks for the report!

Here's a thread from guests there now about the weather.

IT'S HOT!!!
