Just returned from BCV had mousekeeping issues!

We just returned from a great (but cold stay) at BCV. We recieved the 2 bedroom with 2 Queens as reserved and enjoyed our Epcot view. The room was is good shape with some minor signs of wear (nicks in the tv cabinets etc.)

Our problem came on day 2 after we returned from SAB. Suddenly the tile floor of the master bath had more sand than you could imagine and the kids have no idea where it came from...most be mousekeeping. No matter how many times I swept, we still had traces of it on the final day.

The trip overall was fun but I am not use to going in off season and having the parks close so early. We did get to do Fantasmic and Illuminations in the same night. We enjoyed Soarin again and Everest was open but we didn't want to wait. It is running sporatically and wasn't running when we were there.

Still no change on the "coming soon sign"

I'm glad you had a nice time, I can't imagine going to Fantasmic and then Illuminations on the same night!! Did you walk, or use the boats!

It was easy with a 7pm Fantasmic and 9pm Illuminations. We took the boat but had to get off at YC/BC for a bathroom stop and than walked the rest of the way. We were there about 30 minutes early, got a great spot and even had time for a popcorn run

We were at the BCV Tues - Sunday. We had a good time but wish it had been a little warmer. I know with going in Feb. you take your chances with the weather.

I didn't realize Fantasmic was at 7, I would have guessed 8 was the earliest! Good for you, making both!

We are "early to bed, early risers" and I was thrilled that Wishes was at 9 one night we were there. That's one perk of early closing hours. We were at MGM during our January trip, but I was too cold while watching B&B around 5-6, we didn't stay for Fantasmic.

You had sand in your bathroom on day 2? Why would housekeeping be in your bathroom on day 2? They shouldn't even be there until day 4.

So are you blaming housekeeping for the sand? Your thread title said you had housekeeping issues at BCV.

I guess I'm a little confused.

LOL, Deb and Bill, I think she was teasing about the mousekeeping! Her kids brought the sand in on their feet and suits. BTW, the vacuumn would have worked better than the broom.

I'm glad I'm not the only one confused! I missed the wink as well.

Sorry, I thought the wink in the header and the icon in the middle would give it away (as well as mousekeeping not being in my room oin day 2). Just figured since people love to read complaints I would give them one. It was clearly from DD and DN's at SAB.
