Just returned- Contruction, CB Anthony,etc

Hello everyone, just returned from a great week at the Fort. The week started off great- pulled up to the check-in center and was notified that we received the Site we reqested (this week is going to be great). The week ended with receiving Dream Passes at Hollywood Studios.
A couple of notes and questions...
1. Went to campfire everynight and had a great time. Have to give thumbs-up to Cowboy Anthony. He was great. He ran a great Campfire sing-along. Our family thinks he ROCKS!!

2. Parents joined us on the trip- they haven't been to WDW since 1977. They were blew away with the parks and the Fort. They had never been in Fort Wilderness before. They were so impressed.

3. Construction, Construction, Construction... Noticed contruction everywhere in the Fort. The main road was closed for most of the week.
Question: What is being constructed at the entrence to the Fort (along the front near Vista Blvd)?

Is the construction annoying? I know it needs to be done and have no problem with it, just want to be prepared. Is it hard to get around? I thought they were just working on individual loops

Construction was not a problem at all. Even when they had the main road closed, they used Vans to replace the Buses for in-park transportation. That constuction was completed and isn't an issue any longer.
Mainly the construction is contained in individual loops. The Fort was Great!

It's Great to here you all had a great trip. Glad your Parents enjoyed the Fort. I wonder if you are talking about the new place that they are going to be putting the Golf Carts I don't know for sure but I know they are putting it up by the check in.

That would be consistant with what I heard
