Just Returned.. BCV.. Food and Wine

Just returned from a family and friend trip to Beach Club Villas. The Villas were great and we all enjoyed them. Food and Wine was jam packed for the first night. It was hard to get around the World Showcase. I really did not enjoy it b/c the crowd was so big and usually it is no crowd at all at Epcot. We hit the Animal Kingdom and had a great time. The Festival of the Lion King has never failed to be a super show. Our Safari was the best ever with every animal posing for pictures. The best meal of the trip was Ohana and Cape May. I truly love both. We had a 5 month old so a lot of time was spend at the room. Already looking forward to the next trip to hit Mission Space, Mickey's Phil Harmonic and Chef Mickey's as we have never been. I must say things look good at Disney, no signs of any recession. Huge crowds and people buying eveywhere.

We are doing the family and friend trip next year at this time. Did you have any trouble booking your room(s)? We have 2 contracts so we can't bbok it all at 11 months only half. I am ewooried about waiting until the seven month window. Did you do Mnsshp?

Not sure I liked the comment about "huge crowds". We are going next year this third week of October, and I was hoping for it NOT to be too busy! WE usually go in JAnuary, so we aren't into crowds!

In a couple of days, we'll be hitting the Food & Wine festival as well. Hopefully the crowds die down a bit for the second weekend. We'll see.

I have been to food and wine several times. One time I went the first weekend. Never again. I spent a lot of time in lines so I talked to a lot of locals who came out for the opening weekend. That said most of the actual attractions were un-crowded (is that a word?) since everyone was in line for food.
