Wow! I enjoyed reading your mini-reports. DH and I are eating at Le Cellier in November. How did you like it?
ME - hard to find in the airport? How many hours in advance did you have to board ME on your return trip.
Thanks - it sounds like you had a wonderful time!
LeCellier was great! I am not a fan of red meat, but I had the mushroom filet and if all red meat tasted like it did, I would definately eat it more often! Also, being a chocolate lover, I was very impressed with the chocolate cake dessert. My daughter loved her dessert - chocolate "moose." She had the cheese soup but didn't care for it, so I tried it and thought it was okay. It was kind of cold, so that was probably why it wasn't good to me. Also, my appetizer was the shrimp cocktail. It was good as well.
Being on the dining plan was wonderful at this place! Not only did you get an appetizer, entree, and dessert, but they also let you choose any non-alcholic drink as well. Other places were much more strict - only soda, milk, etc. In fact, one place wouldn't even refill my daughter's milk - and she didn't even get an appetizer at this place! (and the waitress at this other restaurant was very snotty about the fact they couldn't refill milk - I would have paid for a refill but she still never brought it out!)
That being said, I loved LeCellier. It was the one restaurant I even think my husband would enjoy if we ever went to Disney together (he doesn't want to go at all). The breadsticks were wonderful - so many have talked about the pretzel bread, but I enjoyed the sourdough and multigrain bread just as much! The hostess were very nice, and our waitress very prompt and kind as well.
ME was not that hard to find at the airport...as long as you read the flyer they send you (which I did not). You have to go towards baggage claim, then towards ground transportation. In my case, I had to take a tram to another part of the airport. Once I got to the location, a lady was holding a sign for ME people and directed me where to go next (in this case, down the escalator where I had to check in one side of the floor and go wait in line for my specific bus on the other side of the floor).
On the way back, my ME pickup was 2 hours 45 minutes before my flight. We were the last hotel to be picked up, so I would imagine some people were picked up about 3.5 hours ahead of time. We made it to the airport promptly, and my DD and I still had plenty of time to sit around while waiting for the plane to board!!!
