Just reserved SSR through II! A few questions

I am very HAPPY!

I was just able to get a Jan. 20 check-in at SSR in a two bedroom using an II AC. My sister and family (G-Pa 65, G-Ma 65, Mom, Dad, DS1 – 4, DS2 -2) will be using the unit. None of them have ever stayed on Disney property before, and the four younger folks have never been to Disney before.

I have a few questions, and would welcome any suggestions that you may have!

They are arriving on Sunday morning and the reservation starts on Saturday. Is there anything they should do besides telling the CSR that they will arrive a day late?

The last night of their stay they will need to move to a different on site Disney hotel. Will Disney move their luggage for them?

How does Disney's Magical Express Service work is you arrive to one resort and depart from another? Is it any more complicated?

Any special requests they should make?

What grocery shopping & delivery company do you recommend?

yes disney will move your bags for you from resort to resort.

you shouldnt have a problem with magical express people do that all the time start in one resort and end in another, just tell them in advance.

i never got groceries delivered but there is at least one that advertises on this website. im sure they are great.

I have heard great things about Garden Grocer and just ordered my groceries from them. It was easy, they have a great website. Good luck!

This may seem a little odd, and I just posted this on another thread, but get yourself a couple of canvas hang-on-the-door shoe organizers, and hang them on the bathroom doors. This will give you a great place to store so many of those things that just otherwise take up counter space. We keep everything from the electric razor to bandaids to lotions, and anything else that will fit. It helps keep things organized, in one place, and frees up much needed counter space. We don't keep our shoes in it though... that might get the organizer dirty. Have a wonderful vacation!
