I've been lurking/semi posting for quite awhile. Finally get to go for 10 days after Thanksgiving this year. This will be our family's first time also. I went for 1 day in '74 at age 11.
I too live in MO, south of St Louis.

me and my wife went to disney in sept for the first time and our 10th anniver. we learn everything we wanted to from the dis boards and we had a ball so welcome and hope you have fun on the dis .
