Hi I have just registered we are a family of 5 going to wdw for the first time in January 07 [ first time on a plane ]. Been reading the dis boards found them very helpful, how does this sound 3 weeks in Jan staying off site at Champions Gate 14 days disney tickets , 14 days universal tickets , discovery cove swim plus [14 days sw and bg }.
was realy looking forward to going but today found flights on VA web site £400 cheaper than what we paid with VH fly drive as anyone else had the same problem :confused3

Thank you very much for the welcome , sorry not quite sure how things work like replying and keeping up :surfweb:

Hi gils and welcome!

We live in Devon too :) Just outside of Exeter.

I never look at the flight prices after I have booked - OK so you've found it cheaper now, but the prices could have just as easily gone up :)

If you got a deal you were happy with at the time then all's well I say :)

It sounds like you have plans in place to cover all the parks :thumbsup2

I hear Champions Gate is a lovely place to stay!

If you have any questions, ask away - we are a friendly bunch.

Hi Miffy many thanks, we live in Plymouth.
Yes you are right I should have not looked!!! still a bit sick because of not flying before did not know the prices would change so much will not look again

Hi Gills

Welcome to the DIS.

Champions Gate is a lovely place and being just off the I4 you will find it really easy to get to all the parks. You will have a fantastic time.

Welcome :thumbsup2 We always seem to book and then an offer is released - this years was 10 nights for the price of 7! You just have to grin and bear it :rotfl2: You will have a great time at Discovery Cove, we went 3 years ago and have booked to go back again next year.

welcome my family are 1st timers too in march so much good info on here, anything you need to ask the dissers normally know it :disrocks: :dancer:

Hi

:welcome: :disrocks: :welcome:

This is a great site not only do you get fab advice you make some great friends as well. I have organised a meet in London tomorrow. I cant wait.

Congrats for booking your holiday you will love it and no doubt you will want to go and get the disney bug. Have a nice time and enjoy your planning. :thumbsup2

Welcome to the boards, they are a very helpful bunch on here.I've stopped looking at flight prices after booking,i think the only reason they have dropped is because people have been put off.The prices normally go up the longer you leave it,it's only when theres empty seats that prices come down.

thank you all for welcome comments, i dont feel to bad now about booking early for the flights
:cloud9:

Welcome aboard

Welcome Gills

3 weeks sounds great

My advice is don't look at any more prices! just look forward to your holiday & read the Disboards

I don't know how old your kids are, but they may also enjoy the Universal parks. Mine love Disney, but also definitely wanted to return to Universal this trip. I'd also definitely recommend some of the buffets and doing at least one character meal. (Memories to last a lifetime stuff!)
