Just received PIN code with free Park Hopper option.

I got that same mailer today that Sleepingbeauty101 showed a few posts above this one. We were previously booked in Nemo suite at AoA on the Summer Meal deal but this room discount with free park hopping (which we always buy anyway) saved us more than the Summer Meal deal. That deal would have saved us (3 adults, 2 teens, 1 tween) about $600-650 depending on how well we used our credits. If I was really strategic, we might have been able to save $700 with that deal. The new offer I got today saved us almost $1,000. And when my Disney TA tried to modify my reservations online there were no Nemo suites available for the deal but she called and a CM threw a little pixie dust our way and we got to keep the Nemo suite! :cool1:

FWIW, I read somewhere that if you order the planning DVD you should indicate that you're going to be staying off-site. Several people over the last few weeks have mentioned that seemed to trigger a PIN/UOC. So I decided to try it. I ordered the DVD last week and said we'd be staying off site. Surprise! The PIN/UOC showed up in my mailbox today! I have no way of knowing if that's what triggered it or if it was just coincidence in the timing, but I'd say it's worh a try. I will also mention that while I've ordered the DVD every year, I never indicated that we'd be staying off site, yet I've still gotten PIN codes other years.

I wish I could have a Pin code. I have the AP and am going in JULY. I will be staying in the CR and my room is $4000. How could I get a pin code? I have tried everything I know.

I think I read on another thread that there is a really good AP deal for July, up to 35% on deluxe.

I never get pin codes. My daughter got this pin code in the mail yesterday but its in her previous married name. She took her maiden name back after her divorce. Not sure she will be able to use it but I told her to call and ask. Fingers crossed!

A friend got the mailer, not me BUT we are going at the same time andcwe were able to book my trip on her pin as well. Worked out great, used my cc, and linked the ressie to ky MDE acct. after the fact. My friend's address defaulted on the ressie, but I was able to change it on the magic band shipping info, so I think she will get my docs/confirm book but everything else is coming directly to me.

So excited!! pixiedust:

She should still be able to use this. I had the same issue a few years after my divorce. I received a PIN code in my married name. The first CM I talked to said it wasn't possible, but she also told me it was impossible to book a package using the PIN code because it was a discount off room only. Knowing she was incorrect on being able to book the package using a discount, I called back a few hours later and got someone that was able to book me using the PIN code from my married name and apply it to a package.

Got one for the first time this week via snail mail. Very interesting. We were planning a trip for October this year but we may adjust for mid-August to take advantage of the deal.

Can we book up to 3 rooms on this code like previous ones have allowed?

Which dvd did you order? I went to the ordering site for DVC and Cruise and WDW, none of these ask if I want to stay on or off site.

I'm having the same problem.... Can't find anywhere to choose off-site vs on-site

I requested the Vacation Planning DVD at this page: https://disneyparks.disney.go.com/disney-vacation-planning/

Once I put in my personal information, it asked me information about my upcoming trip (I said we were planning to travel in June) and then it took me to the next page asking info about how many visits we've made to Disney and what resort we were planning on staying at (or "offsite"). My son also filled out the request yesterday and he got the question about where he was planning to stay. There must be something that triggers that question.....now to figure out what it is! :D

I got this code in the mail today. I was so excited (my first pin code!), my husband thought it was a bigger deal than it was.

We are already staying at the AKL in May on rented points, so I don't think I'll be able to use it. :(

Woo hoo..just read other posts and found one hidden in my trash bucket!! Up to 30%+free hopper upgrade..
Question: is it possible with these deals if we where planning our first day at WDW to be on the 25th carry over for the length of stay?

Also FYI if anyone has not received it and was planning it appears you can match the prices with value resort through orbitz 15%discount and tickets at work promo of buy4 day pass get 3 days free..this pin really works for deeper discounts for mod and up

I saw the same post.. We decided to upgrade to a AP for our June stay (we are also returning in September) and were able to apply a 35% off offer to our AKL standard view stay.

I am so jealous, I've been going since 1983 and have never, I repeat never, let me say that again, NEVER, received a pin code. Not the old fashioned way in snail mail or in either of my two email addresses. I'm not feeling the love here.
That's so weird how they give out codes becsuse I got the same offer 4 desperate times. On both of my emails, 1 in mail, and 1 over phone when i called
to see if I had an offer attached to my name.

In my experience, no. The deal is only good for the dates listed. Last summer our travel dates fell during two different promotional periods and we were going to have to have 2 reservations in order to use both deals because the first deal expired on day 3 of our stay. We ended up getting a PIN that covered our entire stay (started 3 weeks before our arrival and ended 6 weeks later) so we were spared having to do 2 separate reservations.

She should still be able to use this...
Thank you! I showed her your post and we called ready to plead our case as she had been on a prior reservation with us in her married name and one in maiden name. CSM started the maybe..maybe not...then said ok. I was surprised but happy, then she told me it was no problem as all 5 of us in our family had the same code attached, even the children and made the changes. We never get pin codes and then all at once. But my daughter was the only one that got the mailer. It saved us almost $1000 on our AOA Nemo suite. (4 adults +2 tweens) and we get the park hopper which we have never tried.

Just called and found out that even though lots of the rooms on the sites are available they are not part of the promo??
For intance poly has the standard rooms available but was only offered the lagoon club level
the studio villa is also not available or part of the promo??

Looking to book week of August 18-25th
WDL looks like another option but nervous about the amount of refurb going on that may take away from our family experience..we have only stayed at Pop and shades of green in past trips.

Well the promo has been out now for a good 3 weeks. It's possible all the other available rooms in the other categories for the promo have been booked.
