I ordered my 'glowable' lanyards and pins from Kellogg's on April 12. The first one arrived May 12, then May 14, then May 15. Each was well-wrapped. My first pin arrived May 15th. As reported, both are of good quality and the lanyard colors really set off my pin collection! I am tempted to say that the lanyards are almost too nice to wear -- mine is hanging from my vanity mirror right now, but I'm sure it will go with me in August to WDW.

Its nice to get something in exchange for all the FrootLoops my son eats!

I too got my lanyard the other day but I'm a little dissappointed with it since it has the velcro down at the bottom, one good yank and it falls off. I like the colors of course and have added an alien green mickey head to the ring.

I agree with mom2of2. I was planning on sewing over the velcro so it does not open and fall off.

Hmmmm....I'll have to look more closely at mine, because I never noticed the velcro. Thanks for the warning.

My DH the engineer pointed out that the velcro is a safety feature, allowing for a release if the lanyard gets caught. Better to lose your pins than lose your neck. He for one is glad to see the velcro there. I don't travel with my best pins anyway (the 'no-touchies' stay home)

how many lanyards can you order per UPC? For example, can you send in 2 UPC's but order 4 lanyards?

Also, does anyone know where to get those pouches that hang from your neck that carry all of your ID, park hoppers etc.? Can you use this lanyard and attach the pouch to it?

Thanks!

I had the forms for the 100 Years pins, but I have never seen anything for lanyards. Can anyone tell me something about these? Thanks, Marla

You can only order one lanyard per envelope - 2 UPCS and $2.99.

You can get plastic pouches at Office Depot. Depending on the size, you may have to punch your own hole in it.

I've gotten them in a 4x6" size, package of 10 for about $5.

You can also get the smaller, credit card sized pouches, and perhaps others as well.

I ordered three lanyards, had separate order forms and 2 UPC's for each, put all three in one envelope and wrote one check. I received them in 30 days. The velcro at the bottom is a great safety feature, since they are for my kids. My DS6 almost hung himself with a jump rope so I am VERY cautious about what goes around his neck!!!

The order forms are inside certain boxes of Kellogg's cereals (Rice Krispies, Frosted Flakes and a couple more). The advertisement is on the side or back of the box for the lanyards and pins.

If anyone is interested...I have 2 extra order forms and the required numer (2) of UPC for the Glowin' Lanyards if anyone would like them. Please PM me and I would be happy to send the to you!!:D

Both of the order forms have been spoken for. :D :Pinkbounc

I just dropped two order forms last night for the Lanyards. The 30 day turn around for many of you is awesome! The order form states it can take up to 60 days.

I did not send in the PIN offer. We decided to take those certificates for the pin directly to DownTown Disney to the pin traders. Hopefully they will run out of pins and give us something else.

Hi MEM,
I have this box saved in my kitchen but wondered, are they plastic? They looked it on the box but I couldn't tell, then got busy. They look better than the Am Ex ones I got last year. Glad to see they are really sending them. Do you think they were worth the shipping then. I love Fruit Loops,, they go with my personality LOL>

Definitely not plastic! I would describe it as nylon webbing, very strong, with raised icons of the castle, tree of life, etc. The icons are kind of fuzzy, like flocked wallpaper.

I was very pleased with it until someone mentioned the velcro. The piece of velcro holding it together is very narrow, but I understand why they did it that way.

I feel they are worth the shipping fee. My family usually keeps our "tradeable" pins on our safari hats anyway, and right now, I have my Kellogg lanyard used to display our best pins.

The fuzzy icons as well as the Mickey head clasp glow in the dark. I plan to attach a wider piece of velcro to mine -- I like the safety feature, but this velcro comes apart too easily IMO.

The velcro is unfortunate. I didn't realize it was there & both my kids kept opening. I would advise sewing them closed if this will bother you. Otherwise they are very nice.

Oh goody,
I sent one offer off today. I was going to send one more but realized that Mickey's Magix cereal isn't one of the listed upc codes to send off. Must buy more cereal. I was afraid they would be cheap looking and not functional if they were plastic. Can't wait to get mine and "customize" it. :p
