Just received my item back from WDW lost & found

We were at WDW at the end of June/beginning of July. On our way out of town to Vero Beach we noticed that DS13's cell phone was missing. He had it the night before at a raining Epcot as we headed from the World Showcase to the front of the park b/c he stopped to take a photo of the clouds overlooking the showcase. We realized there were EMH's and off the boys went to hit Test Track and Mission Space.

I tried sitting on L&F hold when we got to Vero, but after 25 minutes, I decided that I wanted to enjoy my vacation. The phone was not going to get any more lost or any more found.

When we got back home, I again sat on hold for an eternity, but the result was a good one. Some nice person turned in the phone off of Test Track and Disney sent it back to me Certified mail at no charge. I think that's good form and it's nice to know some people are still honest.

I didn't even realize I'd lost my Road ID until I received it in the mail with a nice note saying that a bus driver had found it after the post-race hotel drop-offs and asked the Endurance Team to send it back to me. It's one of the nicest things that's happened, especially because it's just a small velcro tag that could easily have been swept up as trash.
