Just received my Dreams Unlimited gift basket!! Pics added Post #1

I took a few pictures of the gift basket and contents, and Facebook turned my stills into a cute video!!

Lots of really nice items, just for booking our cruise with Dreams Unlimited. And a shout out to our awesome agent Beth Czada!!!

I was so excited when I opened the door and saw the package that I grabbed my cell to snap pictures of it all! LOL

Wow that's great! Is that something every dreams customer gets? Or is it only certain travel agents that send them?

From what I understand, it's a gift from the agency Dreams Unlimited. And I think every client gets this, but not sure about anyone outside of the US. Maybe someone else can comment more on this.

DU used to leave gift baskets in the staterooms also. But, Disney's policy on that changed a year or two ago. I think now the only gift baskets they get delivered of the ones that are ordered directly from Disney.

it might be even less than a yr since we sailed last Oct when we received our gift in the stateroom. Does DU do this when you book other vacation packages with them or just DCL trips?

Yes that was Shirley from The Perfect Gift. We ordered gift baskets for our sons and SIL and BIL on a couple of our cruises.

Regarding the gifts today from Dreams, I LOVE all of the items in there, and I plan to use them on our cruise in a month!

I love my TA (with a different agency), but I admit that DU does a great job with those gift baskets.

Not sure if the tote is something that you always receive in the DU basket as we just got ours and it wasn't in there. All but the tote. Which is ok I'm not complaining I wasn't expecting anything, just saying we didn't get the tote. Sailing in 3 weeks.

I wonder if we are on the same sailing, when are you cruising? We also got our gift basket yesterday.

I think last October was right around the time that they stop the policy. We tend to sail in the fall, and we're not able to order a basket from Shirley in November last year.

I know that DU does book other cruise lines like Royal Caribbean, but I don't know if they send baskets for those trips or not.

Currently the gifts are mailed to those with US and Canadian addresses that used Dreams Unlimited to book their cruise. One basket per reservation.

The larger tote is really nice and is insulated. The other tote is thinner material that's nice and light for taking to the pool deck.

We got the thinner reusable bag, not the thicker insulated one.
You can use the insulated bag on castaway cay to carry some cold drinks!

We are on the Fantasy Oct 15. We almost booked the NYC cruise too, but we just did Magic last December.
