It all depends on how long your seller takes to send in their documents. Closing is an event, not a process. The title company closes and sends your deed to the county to be recorded, then to Disney. Figure two weeks from recording.
It is getting to be three weeks since we recorded and no sign of the transfer being complete...it seems to have slowed down in this stage as well. I would estimate 3-4 weeks from deed recording at this point for you. You can check the Closing Time thread, there is a nice amount of data for you to look at there regarding the timelines after closing
We made the verbal agreement on April 21st, passed ROFR on May 29th, received closing docs on June 25th. I filled them out and sent them along with payment on June 29th.
It also depends on your title company. We passed ROFR 5/4, our closing docs and money wired in 6/15, sellers papers back 6/23 and still no closing let alone recorded and sent to DVC.
I got my closing documents on 6/3 and mailed the check back the same day. The seller's didn't get their paperwork in until 6/18. And yet, we didn't close until this week. The deed was recorded yesterday, on 7/8. I'm not impressed with the process lately. This was much, much slower than last year.
Disney is taking their sweet time. We closed at the end of May. Our deed was recorded June 3 and we received a letter with membership number yesterday dated of June 28.

Looks like we'll be closing this week. All documents received. Title company says they double check the point balance with disney then send it off to be recorded. So all in all that's about 90 days to close. It would've been quicker but the sellers were in Italy so it took time for them to complete their docs.

Did they say closing this week, or are you guessing? If you are guessing, then you are looking at another 2 weeks.
I guessed, two weeks of constant checking of the comptroller site later I found out that updating the point balance and getting the closing recorded was a 2 week process for TT&M.
EDIT: I am going to put on Mickey's Sorceror's Hat and do some precognition for the fun of it. On Friday 7/31 or Saturday 8/1 you will look on the Orange County Comptroller website and find that your ROFR and title have been recorded. On Monday August 3rd you will receive an email telling you that the title has been recorded and that Disney has been notified. Disney will officially acknowledge you existence during the week of August 17th. I sincerely hope you beat my predictions.
