Just received activation code!

I just received my activation code tonight for my DVC acct and registered on-line. I purchased directly from Disney. For some reason its not allowing me to book. It states that I may not Bank points and also says that i do not have any points yet. Is this because my sale hasn't closed yet? My estimated closing date was the 19th. Was going to call member services but they're closed for the night.

One other think I noticed is that the check availability button doesn't work either.

I can say that the web site has been very quirky the last couple days. Your best bet us to call MS tomorrow.

Same thing happened to me last week, got my activation code by calling, then was able to log in. My contracts were listed, along with membership number, but my points were not loaded until a day or two later. I was able to book online though, once the points did load. I reserved them by clicking DVC resorts under the My Vacations tab in the upper right. Good luck!

I would call your guide and let him/her make sure that your account is set up and let them make your first reservation. Believe me, you paid for service that you are not getting.

Just checked online and my points showed up! Just booked Kidani 2br savanna view for dec 6th to dec 13th!

There is always at least a one day delay before the points show up in the account after it is added to the system. When Member Administration is really busy, lots of members buying points or the holidays, delays of 2 to 3 days are pretty common.
